I have written a test known as JIPMAT. It's an aptitude test and there is no other interviews like the other IIMs for IPM program. It is comparatively easy to get in even though the the exam is a bit hard.

GOOD ASPECTS 1. Reputation: As an IIM, it is considered one of the top B-schools of India and has a strong brand of IIM network, which adds significant value to the degrees. 2. Quality Curriculum: The course structure is holistic and designed to prepare students for managerial roles, with exposure to case-based learning, live projects followed by practical knowledge and many more. 3. Modern Infrastructure: The institute has new campus with modern amenities, advanced classrooms and comfortable hostels. BAD ASPECTS 1. Location Challenge: Being situated in Jammu, it is often challenging in terms of connecting to metro cities for accessibility and networking opportunities. 2. Fees: The fee structure is too high for any middle class to afford it. Loan is the only way to continue with it. ADMISSION PROCEDURE Admission is based on JIPMAT exam, gender diversity. The component changes each year. There are several online courses that helped me in overall preparation of the exam.

I attended a webinar in class 12th. Through this, I came to know about IPM in IIM Jammu. I took JIPMAT and IPMAT and got into IIM Jammu. Since the MBA placements were decent and it is an IIM I selected this Institute over other private colleges.

As the iim brand fascinates me a lot I have scored 96 percentile and got this college I have faced interview and got selected in the college for my 2 years full time mba program and got chance to get my dream job.

The good aspect of this college is it provides the brand name of IIMs and has a good infrastructure that provides all facilities also provides higher salary packages as the lowest is off 15 lakhs and the highest is 40 lakhs but the bad aspect is they are increasing fees year by year as our seniors are paying 3 to 4 lakhs less. Yes, we have given an entrance exam that is jipmat and you need to clear sectional cutoffs I.e Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. The test lasts 150 minutes and happens on a computer. If you get a question right, you get 4 marks, but if it's wrong, you lose 1 mark. I took coaching from Pratham in Delhi and they provided me with all the practice questions and required things to clear.
