UMU provides a variety of courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels. The popular courses are B.Tech and B.Sc (Hons.) with various specialisations. UMU B.Tech total fee ranges between INR 5.25 Lakhs - INR 12.1 Lakhs, and admission is merit-based. While for B.Sc (Hons.), the total fee ranges from INR 4.29 Lakhs - INR 4.5 Lakhs and the eligibility criteria is to score a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 with PCB as compulsory subjects.

Usha Martin University also provides diploma and integrated courses to its students directly after clearing 10th standard from a recognised board. Admission to any course is based on merit. For UMU Ph.D Admissions is based on UGC NET or directly based on merit. The application process is either online or offline.

Boring and miserable

What I Liked

The classroom facilities as it is newly built and the cleanliness in the whole campus is surprisingly good.
The hostel rooms and facilities are good.

What I didn’t like

The campus life is absolutely boring and miserable.
The teachers/faculties are mostly behave rudely to the Students for absolutely no reason.

Remarks:

It is really close from my home and it was preferred by my elder brother that's why I chose this college. No , i didn't give any interview/tests for admission. They eligibility criteria is just 50 percent in 12th board i guess

My painful college life

What I Liked

The building is good clean and hygienic .
The campus is beautiful it gives good vibes .

What I didn’t like

Some roads are not completed yet and it is really hard for us to walk on them
Some faculties are very arrogant this thing is really bad

Remarks:

My friend suggested me for this college . The good aspect of my college is the environment there is no bulling and ragging, The bad aspect of my college is the management. So I gave the exam jcecb and the cutoff was above 50% I just studied my 12th books

About Usha Martin University

What I Liked

The campus of the college is very big and are very developed the dustbin Street ,lamp available at every corner
The cafeteria is very big and have very vast amount of options there to eat

What I didn’t like

Colleges very far from the main city and it took almost 1 hours to reach there
The college is still in development process

Remarks:

The factor that made me choose this college is,it is the best college for B.Tech in Jharkhand. The criteria for admission in this college is more than 60% in 12th and which is very common . I hadn't faced any written test or interview but i faced just a normal discussion.

Umu lifestyle

Remarks:

It's campus is vast . Buildings are having enough classroom which have the capacity of 300-400 students per class . Labs are also nice with AC facilities. Admission process is direct no need to give any entrance exam get admission based on 12th marks

College infrastructure is good. Faculty is excellent.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is very good. This college has spread over a very large area. The teachers here are highly educated. teaching skills is very good every teacher. No exam has to be given for admission here.

What I Liked

I like the greenery present near my campus.
I like the playground of my campus and badminton court and basketball court

What I didn’t like

I don't like the ventilation of the classes.
I don't like the lab experience of this university which is not up to the mark .

There is no factor made me to choose this college I just choose this college because I could not obtained good marks in neet . And this college was near by my home swatches college . I was not willing to do be pharmacy but because of the low marks in neet choose this.

What I Liked

I like the campus very much and the environment.
Faculties and my friends are very helpful.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the labs they are not upto the mark
I don't like the washrooms also they are not maintained

Remarks:

Usha martin conducts a group discussion or i say interview for thoes who are interested in this college. There is no need to write a test for getting admission you can take admission based on merit base.

UMU: A Journey of Success

What I Liked

The infrastructure of our college is very amazing and it is continuously growing day by day and the facilities in our college also getting enhanced. There are several blocks which are divided in order to provide better teaching environment to the students of different departments. Faculties are very cooperative and very helpful to students. The campus life in UMU is overall very good.
The events that are organised in the college brings o a lot of positivity to the students and it is also individual experience and understanding too.

What I didn’t like

The duration of the college day is very much long and is need to be revised or shortened in a new order. There is no other thing to be disliked in UMU.

Remarks:

I got to know about this institution from my relatives and friends. I got to know more information from the web. During the admission process it is needed to submit the important documents. There is no addmission test needed during addmission. The eligibility criteria for my course (BTech in CSE) was 60% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

What I Liked

I like the location of this University as it is has clean and open environment.
I also like the cricket ground of this University which is the best in Jharkhand.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the management of this University.
I also dislike the sport facility of this University. We cannot play on the main ground , i don't know why!

Remarks:

Factors that made me choose this college are: First of all the University is not far from my location and it is one of the best in my area. There was no return test or interview for the admission. I got admission directly with the 12th result.
