What I Liked

I like the greenry of the campus and the faculties members are experienced in their particular field .

What I didn’t like

I disliked about the amenities is to they should improve in amenities

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria was the 80% for the placement . Many company come to our college they offer good opportunity to us. Placement is given to students on website like intershala and many other platforms

Internships Opportunities:

No , yet I have not opted any internship from the college side because I am in a 1 year so I get the internship in the last semester in the 3 year of my course and the average package I get was according to the company but it is 500000

Unvieling the pros and cons of D.S.B campus nainital (kumaun University)

What I Liked

A well equipped campus with modern facilities and libraries, laboratries and recreational areas.
Experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are dedicated to teaching.

What I didn’t like

Insufficient classroom space, Lack of career support etc.
Limited diversity and inclusion, Faculty accessibility

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placements that are provided by the college for any courses. But students get placed in many componies from this college and it also provides internships in campus that helps students to develop their skills.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes i have done the internship with some NGO's that works for environment and forests. I have done my internship with a NGO called CHEA, CHINAR etc. they teaches students about the different factors about forests and enviroment.

Sometimes you may join something you may not.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure of the college and well maintained labs and classes
I like my college life because my college is in hill station and I like weather.

What I didn’t like

I don't like my college area because it is too small.
There is no sitting area and there is no playground available.

Placement Experience:

As I have seen there is no placement given by the college yet but many other students have themselves got placed in higher MNC's and other higher posts and the only thing is the college is government so we got priority to achieve jobs.

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted any of the internship yet but our college offers many different intership programs as they have many collaboration with various other internship providing companies and they all inform us regularly.

What I Liked

Everything is fabulous. The most interesting and best part of my college is that everything is hygienic and clean and fully maintained.
The clean green environment and our beautiful campus area is fabulous.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing like that which I don't like.

Placement Experience:

There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships

Internships Opportunities:

No , yet I have not opted any internship from my college side but after my 2 year completion and in the last semester we get opportunities from our college side to get the opportunities for doing internships .

What I Liked

The location of the college is site to behold. The infrastructure is not great but provides the essential amenities. The labs are equipped with high ranked equipments.
The faculty members teach with their full potential and help us thoroughly. Despite being the faculty members they also guide us through the life with their experienced talks. If you are feeling anxious about what your future beholds teachers here help you with relieving your nerves and offer councelling sessions.

What I didn’t like

The college campus doesn't expand to the great distance as a college should be , with only 2 lecture halls.
The campus life isn't happening at all with little to no extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

The Bhimtal Campus of KU doesn't really offer on campus placement and job opportunities. For being able to get a job after degree completion one must look out for the off campus opportunities on LinkedIn.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are well regulated. There are a number of internships offered by VC office for 1-2 months with a stipend of ?2000-4000 per month. The university also provide the funds for the innovative start up ideas.

My experience with kumaun university

What I Liked

I like cleanliness in college and the faculty members are also very supportive
There are less children here, due to which the teachers focus on all the children.

What I didn’t like

The water facility in my college is not that good and the washrooms are also quite dirty.
The biggest problem is that no kind of sports are played here

Placement Experience:

The placements are not that good and the job opportunities are less. Actually I don't know much about placements as I am still a fresher but as far as my seniors tell me, according to them the placements are very less.

Internships Opportunities:

Well, this is my first year in this college but my seniors have got internship here. I have chosen a professional course but no industry visit is provided here for that.y overall experience is not that much good with this college.

What I Liked

The things I like about my college are the faculties are experience.
The infrastructure of the campus is in favor of students so we don't get bored.

What I didn’t like

Cleanness and we don't have access to water filters.
We don't get any fest and extracurricular activities in the campus.

Placement Experience:

The recruiters we got are Google Facebook apple Microsoft and I have high placement rates for about 7.5 GPA it is a very good college for exposure to the industry highest package 8 lakh avg package 4lpa plan after degree to get good job

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, I've opted for an industrial internship for about 1500 rupees per month internship companies were Wipro, Facebook, TCS, NGOs, Nestle, Century paper pulp. And I have got internship certificates from the companies and perks.

What I Liked

The life here is very sorted and very easy with all the basic amenities provided by the college facility and the campus and the view of the lake and Mountain feel much better to connect you to the nature and it’s a very good place.

What I didn’t like

nothing I dislike is there is no cleanliness no clean environment like you do not broom the tiles and floor for about two months. This need to be done correctly. Rest everything is good. Rest about separately about cleanness.

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility is approximately 7.5 CGPA in total and recruiters are like Knepper and very very companies like Himalaya and the highest average package is approximately 10 to 12 X average package and the highest package is 24 lakhs by the percentage percentage of student getting placement is approximately 7290% and the plans we are getting degree is very important and the course is they are providing from the government colleges is very beneficial to get a government job and the placement rate is very high, so the College I suggest is very, very good

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, we have opted for a hospital and an industrial internship which is a choice for the student to choose one from this in the fifth semester which is provided by the college in the college degree and the internship certificate also provided and the products we have done is and study all theinstruments in the industry and Intern Ship. They provide also approximately 10 to 12,000 Burman and the companies they offer under our Himalaya, Lupin, et cetera.

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is good but as the university is very old the style and architecture of the campus is of old style but you know what the infrastructure is really very good . They give generous vibes to u to study as well feel peace.
As a matter of fact though the college infrastructure is of old style but though the halls and auditoriums are of really very good standard as well as quality They are same as that of those private colleges.

Placement Experience:

The college do not provide any campus placements . I prefer that the university should work on this phase. The college has a vast variety of courses and staff is really very good so it can easily afford campus placements. This would rather attract more students in the college.
