ACMS admits students mainly to the MBBS programme through NEET UG 2026 and GGSIPU counselling. The total academic fee is INR 28.23 lakh, while hostel charges are separate. All seats are meant for eligible wards of serving or retired Indian Army personnel.

Children of personnel from the Air Force, Navy and paramilitary forces, including CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifles, GREF and DSC, cannot apply for these seats.

  • The entire MBBS intake consists of 100 seats reserved under the Army ward quota.

  • ACMS is not included in MCC All India Quota counselling.

  • A serving Army parent must have completed at least 10 years of continuous service for the ward to qualify.

  • Children of ex-Army pensioners and war widows may also seek admission.

  • GGSIPU charges a non-refundable registration fee of INR 1,500 and a non-refundable counselling participation fee of INR 1,000.

  • SC, ST and OBC reservation follows the Government of NCT of Delhi policy. The required certificates must come from Delhi authorities.

  • PwD applicants receive 5% horizontal reservation across categories.

  • Provisional admission is not permitted. Students must present every original document when reporting.

Direct or management quota admission is not available at ACMS. GGSIPU fills all 100 MBBS seats through merit-based counselling. ACMS also states that students do not need to make any payment before their admission is confirmed and their documents are physically checked.

ACMS Delhi MBBS Admission 2026

A valid NEET UG 2026 score is the first requirement for MBBS admission at ACMS. Qualified students must then join Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University counselling. GGSIPU assigns every ACMS seat after checking merit, category, Army ward status and seat availability.

ACMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2026

An applicant must satisfy both the academic conditions and the Army ward rules. Failure to meet either set of requirements makes the student ineligible.

The college has a small intake of 100 students, which supports closer interaction with faculty. After completing MBBS, ACMS graduates may compete for 50% of Delhi State and Institutional Quota PG seats at GGSIPU-affiliated institutions, including Safdarjung Hospital, RML Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College.

How to Apply for MBBS at ACMS Delhi?

Students must complete separate formalities for NEET UG and GGSIPU counselling. Registration on one portal does not replace registration on the other.

  • Step 1: Appear for NEET UG 2026 through NTA at neet.nta.nic.in and obtain a qualifying score.
  • Step 2: Gather proof of Army ward eligibility, such as the PPO or discharge certificate, the parent's service record, dependent card and identity card.
  • Step 3: Sign up at ipu.admissions.nic.in. Pay the non-refundable registration charge of INR 1,500 and counselling charge of INR 1,000.
  • Step 4: Enter and lock college choices during the applicable counselling window, placing ACMS Delhi according to preference.
  • Step 5: Review the GGSIPU seat allotment result. A student allotted an ACMS seat must pay the online blocking fee of INR 60,000.
  • Step 6: Report to ACMS with all original records and complete the medical fitness examination.

NEET UG rank decides MBBS selection at ACMS, and GGSIPU manages the allotment. Interviews, group discussions and marks from other academic assessments carry no additional weight.

  • A student must first qualify NEET UG 2026.
  • The student must register for GGSIPU counselling and be included in its MBBS merit list.
  • GGSIPU considers NEET rank, category and the number of available ACMS seats while making an allotment.
  • Officials check Army eligibility records after a seat is provisionally assigned.
  • Admission becomes final only after the student passes the ACMS medical fitness examination.

ACMS graduates have no compulsory military service bond. Unlike AFMC Pune students, who are commissioned and must serve in the Army for a fixed period, ACMS graduates may enter civil practice, pursue postgraduate study or join the armed forces voluntarily. ACMS is the only Army-run medical college in India without such a service obligation.

ACMS Scholarships 2026

Eligible ACMS students whose parents are ex-servicemen can seek support through the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme. Kendriya Sainik Board manages this scheme for the eligible student group.

  • Female students receive INR 3,000 per month, equal to INR 36,000 per year, under PMSS.
  • Male students receive INR 2,500 per month, equal to INR 30,000 per year, under PMSS.
  • Applicants must be wards of ex-servicemen and must have earned at least 60% in Class 12. MBBS is covered by the scheme.
  • Applications remain open from August to November 2026 at ksb.gov.in, and 5,500 scholarships are awarded each year.
  • Students may ask ACMS whether the Army Welfare Education Society offers any other financial assistance.

ACMS Delhi Admission FAQs

Ques. Which entrance test must an ACMS MBBS applicant clear?

Ans. Every applicant must qualify NEET UG 2026 because ACMS accepts no other entrance examination. Meeting the NEET cutoff alone is not enough, as the student's Army ward status is checked separately and is also compulsory.

Ques. Who can compete for the 100 MBBS seats at ACMS?

Ans. The 100 seats are limited to eligible Army wards and widows. Civilian students cannot apply, and the college has no general merit, open-category or management quota seats.
