What I Liked

Infrastructure is good with well maintained hospital and buildings. Faculty are good and cooperative too.
Campus life is good too with lots of programmes and activities.

What I didn’t like

Most students are from well being family so you might feel inferior to others.
The competition in college is toxic . People are ready to push you behind.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students do not apply for placement, They prepare for NEET PG exam for masters degree Many students give USMLE and PLAB for foreign courses. If anyone wants to work in hospital, they easily get placed .

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is compulsory in the course. Stipend:-30,000/ month Interns work in the hospital to get work exposure and skill necessary in the course. After internship that hey have to provide government service in Karnataka.

Kasturba hospital review

What I Liked

Infrastructure - compared to government colleges It is extremely nice. There are a lot of facilities and tests available at quite affordable prizes compare to other private colleges.
Faculty - they are all very talented and amazing doctors. They come from good colleges and backgrounds. The Senior of faculty has a lot of experience and excellent diagnosticians

What I didn’t like

Mess - they could improve a little bit on the menu and food quality
Wards - some general words are very difficult to be and as they are not air-conditioned but they are very cheap and convenient to more poor patients

Placement Experience:

There is no system of placement in post graduation. You come to study the subject. You do get a lot of clinical exposure and chances to do procedures. They train you well. If you have been good throughout, then you can get a lot of recommendation letters from your professors which will help you get a job as a senior resident.

What I Liked

The college life in manipal is very happening
Faculty is excellent and teaching standards are on par with international colleges

What I didn’t like

Manipal is a small town a little far from airport
Mbbs is very hectic and stressful and managing time is difficult

Internships Opportunities:

Internship has to be done in the Kasturba hospital that is the teaching hospital of kmc manipal. It is a tertiary care centre with modern facilities and state of the art trearment. The internship program is mandatory for all students
