Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is a private autonomous engineering college in Gandipet, Hyderabad, Telangana, started in 1979. NRI quota seats are offered in all BE / B.Tech courses. The total 4-year NRI fee is INR 19,30,000 for standard branches and INR 19,18,000 for new-age branches. The management quota fee can be different from the general quota fee, so students should check it directly with CBIT admissions. B.Tech Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering follow JNTUH norms for laboratory-heavy study along with the regular engineering departments.

CBIT Hyderabad Campus and Infrastructure

CBIT Hyderabad has a 50-acre campus in Gandipet, near Osman Sagar reservoir on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The area gives students a calmer study setting while still connecting them to the city through the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Road No. 72 of Jubilee Hills.

The campus has separate academic blocks for departments, a central library with print and digital resources, updated computing labs, and research labs for specific departments. Facilities include VLSI design labs, AI and robotics labs, and an advanced Communication Engineering lab in the ECE block. Civil and mechanical engineering students use material testing and fluid mechanics laboratories.
