This college have an compulsory intership program so in this student must have to a 10weeks compulsory internship big companies like Microsoft, Barclays , upstox do come for intership of highest of 1.75 lakhs per month

I havent yet opted for a internship i m thinking i ll do it in my Sem 5 as 3rd year is well suitable for the internship i think but im looking forward for a good internship now too lets see if ill get a chance

I haven't yet opted for any internship however I really want to do anything intership as soon as possible and thus I'm doing a lot of research everywhere just so I can do anything intership this academic year

i am currently in second year and i am doing internship in this year itself. a lot of my friends are doing internship too whether it be paid or unpaid. college helps you a lot for it too. they do provide you internship.

I have opted for the internship from outside. The college doesn't have an internship cell. But one can do projects under a professor and get a certificate for the experience. The placement cell is good. Many big companies come here.

I am in 1st year yet so I don't know about jobs and placements but yes about intership we have an internship cell as the campus runs an startup school. We have a lot of opportunities for internship. Most people get placed later in the intership company only. Highest salary is CTC 52Lpa and average is 7-9Lpa. We have a choice to either sit for placements or complete our further studies in abroad through exchange program From the last 2 years, 100% of students who sat for placements got into placements. Also, the eligibility criteria is to earn 10 credits throughout the 4 years to sit for placements. 1 credit means 40hrs of work in college campus teams or internships. My plans right now are to sit for placements and get job asap.

The placement is decent with employability of 70-80%. Many tech and others companies visit in campus for placements offers a average salary of 12lpa in computer science branch that I am pursuing. Others branches have different salary structures. The highest package till date which is offer is 25lpa.

The placement and the job opportunities are also very good as I'm from a technical course Somaiya made sure to bring in the best companies and the best packages were offered to every candidate being placed although I was not amongst the top students with higher packages but got a decent package and was very much satisfied with the same.

College has both internal as well as external internships opportunities and facilities makes sure students are joining them. In college they have credit score based on internships you are doing. In terms of college projects people can join different projects like online exam portal, Attendance portal and much more.
