SPIT have highly active student community both cultural as well as technical clubs which includes csi, ieee, iete for technial aspect and also have cultural clubs like oculus. The campus very big , if we compare it the colleges in Mumbai

Life at campus is enjoyable with a good and friendly social culture. We have a yearly recurring fest called "Oculus" usually performed in the months February -March where many top artists come to perform. Along with it there is a War Of Branched Event where different branches come to participate in various fields against each other like Music,Sports,Dance. Books and Journals are readily available and even allowed to be borrowed from the Library Classrooms are packedwih amenities like Centralized Air Conditioning,proper benches, projector and movable whiteboard on a smart board for efficient teaching purposes. Sports and extracurricular activities thrive thanks to different clubs formed in the college, like Rotaract,Oculus,E-Cell etc. contributing to something other than studies keeping a balanced environment.

The campus life is good here and the seniors are also very helpful and were and are very friendly to us they help us alot by giving us information that how can we manage any college problem.

The fest of S.P.I.T. is Oculus which is conducted in March. It is a three-day event with the first day having war of branches: competitions of cultural events between the branches followed by two pronites. All the books in our courses are available in the library, both hardcopy in the library and softcopy on our online library DSpace, along with the past years' question papers. Apart from study material books, other books like novels, magazines & newspapers are also kept in the library. Most classrooms have digital boards, while some have white/ black boards. All the classrooms and labs are air-conditioned and have good ventilation. Labs have well functioning PCs and ethernet/WiFi. In sports and cultural activities, we have teams for each sport and dance and music too, where our college teams compete in competitions. Each domain has various committees, like CSI, IEEE in Tech domain, ECell, NISP, Enactus in Entrepreneurship and finance domain and OCULUS, Mudra in Cultural Domains.

SPIT is a cultural hub for the students who are interested in non academic sectors like sports, music, drama etc, they have comittees for each thing, you can participate in the committee and even become the members.

Oculus is our annual techno-cultural fest that is conducted in March every year. Our course offers air conditioned labs and classrooms, Wi-Fi-enabled as well, a well-stocked library, and collaborative spaces for projects. Hostel facilities are well-maintained, with mess (food) and a hygienic canteen, medical assistance, and diverse sports amenities for overall growth.
