You can join this college if you want a good cgpa but you'll have to go off campus for placements

What I Liked

The new library and probably the temple

What I didn’t like

The boring teachers and i hate attending classes just for attendence

Placement Experience:

I dont think many big tech companies come here but the placements are decent enough to try it out? Most of the companies that come here they come here to mass recruit with 2-3lpa packages but there are some good companies which come with good offers

Internships Opportunities:

I have but im still in second year so for now im still trying to build a good enough resume by participating in events and trying to increaee my skillsets the college also provides their own internships for students

Placement Experience:

Placements were pretty decent, for core engineering it was not good but for IT there were a lot of companies will came, the starting package was 3lpa up to 15 and most of the people got placed if they knew basic coding.

What I Liked

College library is new and its Cool, campus is green lush which make college life peaceful
Faculty are good like cse Branch they are very supportive

What I didn’t like

Campus life is not so good because of strict rules
Faculty of mechanical department are worse and they won't support at all

Placement Experience:

The placements was good till last 3years but this year the placements is decreasing and the campus placement is just 50% out of 100 Intership is not provided by college therefore you have to search for off campus

Internships Opportunities:

As i am in first year i don't have any internship and any other stuff but according to my knowledge their is internship provided to 3rd year students.i m first year so still im learning about intership

SMVIT College Review

What I Liked

Infrastructure, we have a huge campus along with trees all around to provide a cool and nice weather
Campus life, in the small cultural activities conducted every week, we come across opportunities to explore our potential

What I didn’t like

No opportunities for sports and other competitions
No huge cultural fests, where other colleges conduct fests with famous celebs coming, our college does not have enough budget for it

Placement Experience:

Usually we opt for placements after the 3rd semester . And since I haven’t completed my 3rd semester I haven’t looked for any internships . But I am working on hackathons and other projects . As of now they give me a lot of experience.

Internships Opportunities:

No I haven’t opted for any internships as of now . Although I’m working on hackathons and other projects off campus . As of now they give me the experience and exposure needed for future work. AI projects are much valued in today’s date

Sir MVIT -

What I Liked

College campus is huge and there is no lack of greenery and fresh air which is a good change away from the city life.
The location of campus is on the outskirts of Bangalore city which makes it a refreshing experience away from the busy city life.

What I didn’t like

The curriculum followed as per VTU is very outdated and lacks practical knowledge which helps students in the future .
The infrastructure of the college can be massively improved considering the fees they take per student. Fund allocation to the betterment of campus and student life is very poor.

Placement Experience:

Placements begin during the sixth semester of the students. Common companies that visit our campus are accenture, l&t, cognizant, tcs, wipro, mindtree, etc. The average package claimed by the college is around rs 5 to 6LPA. Some of the highest packages include media.net and amazon which give 30+LPA and 16+ LPA. Average percentage of students getting placed are 90% as claimed by the college.

Internships Opportunities:

The college doesn't allow students to pursue any internships as of 2022 scheme and only provide one mandatory internship/ training program which is during the final 8th semester. Previous batch schemes used to have a minimum of three internships throughout the course of 4 years, a 1 month, 3 month and 6 month internship.

The reality of my situation

What I Liked

Faculties are linient,tht are helping in nature, campus is filled with greenary,and it's near air force so it's quite good

What I didn’t like

No protection,no boundaries,no main gate,this is the biggest drawback of college and infrastructure structure are quite old..

Placement Experience:

To sit in the placement we need clear all sem without backlogs,with cgpa of around 8, mostly company recruit for cse and allingned students,Bosch, Infosys, Capgemini.. highest package is 16 lac per lpa , percentage of students getting placed is 50%,my plan is to get secure job..the I ll focus on my startups.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opt for any internship as I am still in 3rd sem ,ya there are internship opportunity by our campus,I heard it from senior who availed it,there are mostly not stippned...it's government and private internship both comes into picture.

The dark reality you must know before you join

What I Liked

The things I like about college is 133acres of lush green campus which contains gym, library,blocks, temple,shops, cafeteria, canteen
The next thing I like is the faculties,they are very experienced, supportive and they help in your personal problems too.

What I didn’t like

The placement opportunities of this college is very very bad they are not inviting the companies to the college.
The College mechanical faculties are very rude and have so much of attitudes please don't join this college id you want to pursue mechanical engineering otherwise you will ruin your 4 years

Placement Experience:

They do not provide any internship coming to placements,the placement are only good for cse branch that too 60%coming to overall placement it is less than 50% and please don't believe on college website they have uploaded fake placements.you can ask lindkn to get better reality

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't got any internship opportunities from my college as they are lagging to bring companies and also due to recession the college internship program is running very much bad,you have to try off campus internship opportunities

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very beautiful because its surrounded by trees and plants
College faculty is great because the teacher are very experienced

What I didn’t like

Campus life was boaring due to lack of festival
Sports and extracurriculam happens very rare

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for the placement is u have to maintain 7.5 or 7.5 above cgpi I am 3rd year student so still i don't attended any placement sessions the average package is around 400000 per annual

Internships Opportunities:

Still iam not apted any internship so i don't have any idea about internship but i heard from seniors some companies will come for internship during 6th semester so still i have time to reach 6th semester

What I Liked

I like our compus life where there are two mini parks where we take rest .
Canteen which contains tasty food and chats.

What I didn’t like

In most of the times faculty can't complete the syllabus.
Hostels are not modern typed means HiFied Looks like old

Placement Experience:

Placements are going from 6th Sem itself And eligibility was some 8sgpa . And some visited companies are Infosys, Wipro,pega limited, concrete,and many Highest package is 1500000. Average package is 600000.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships which done through college are starting from 6th Sem. Some companies offers internships are Infosys, Wipro, pega technology ,TCS. There are two mini projects and two major projects for throughout course.

Genuine and unbiased review of Sir MVIT

What I Liked

Campus is big and have lot of space (133acres)
Faculty are very polite and focused on academics

What I didn’t like

Seniors from northside is not good in this college they show you so much attitude and force you to call sir
College is outside the main city we have to book cab for market and all but metro station is building near our college

Placement Experience:

21 lakhs on campus highest 2024 47 lakhs off campus highest 2024 Placement for cse is best in this college and average this year is also good which is around 9 lpa. Many students got CTC of 10+ in 2024.
