Placement Experience:

Placements happen in two phases. The first phase considers CGPA/attendance up to 3rd semester, and the second one considers up to 4th semester. Most top companies visit in the first phase only. Students must have 7.5+ CGPA OR 75%+ aggregate attendance, along with a summer internship of at least 4 weeks during their internship break after 2nd year. Resumes are to be built as per the format and guidelines by the Placements Committee, which are authenticated at the beginning of both phases. You will also have to submit an internship report. Top companies like MBB and Big 4 visit, but mid-sized firms and small start-ups also recruit. Some students go unplaced. Profiles like analyst, associate, executive etc. are offered. Highest packages have been going up to INR ~28 LPA, but used to be higher earlier. Average packages are INR ~11 LPA. Some get placed at as low as INR 3 LPA. Top company roles have cut-throat competition. I've appeared for CAT and will pursue MBA after graduation.

Remarks:

The corporate prestige and placement figures, along with positive reviews from relatives, family and friends who are alumni of the college. However, sometimes the competition among the students can get toxic. Admission involved taking the CUET Exam, and this course considered marks from English, Maths (Applied and Standard both) and General Aptitude Test. There was no GD/PI or any other requirement for selection. After CUET, one must apply to DU colleges through the CSAS Portal, rank their preferences by course and college, and wait for the merit list. English and Mathematics syllabus coincides with Class 12 NCERT syllabus. General Test needs to be prepared separately. It usually includes Logical Reasoning, GK, etc. Before the merit list, a "Tentative Rank" was released for each course. You can view that rank only for a set timeframe, it will be gone forever after that. This will be followed by the merit lists. I was able to convert in the first list as a general candidate at rank 196.

Placement Experience:

few recruiters are McKinsey, Bain, Zomato, SBI, Panasonic, LIC, Tata Steel, Natin with Namo and many others. more than 230 offers were made. highest package being 28 lpa and the average package being 10.97 lpa. 90-92% of students get placement in sscbs. after getting the degree I am planning to pursue an MBA from some top IIM.

Remarks:

One of the important factors for choosing Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is that it is one of the most precious colleges of Delhi University. It has centralized ACs in classes and good wi-fi connectivity in classes as well. there are several active societies in the college as well. the college is also known for its placement cell. this year's highest placement was 28 lpa where whereas avg was 10.97 lpa. For admission to this college, a student is required to write the CUET examination and reach the required minimum marks for the course required according to the cut-off of that year. There are no requirements for Group Discussions or any other interview.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the USP of SSCBS. Median package offered last year was around 10LPA, with highest package of 25LPA Companies like BAIN, McKinsey, Deloitte etc visit campus for recruitments. Eligibility criteria for placement in minimum 7.5 CGPA (average) Many students also go to IIM'S for MBA after completing their degree.

Remarks:

The things which I considered before choosing this college were It is one of the few courses in India which teaches BMS and BFIA, two most sought after professional courses The ROI of this college is one of the best in entire country as its fees is only Rs 75,000 (approx.) for entire course with a average placement of 10 lakh. SSCBS has very strong alumni network as many of its ex-students are working in high posts in big companies

Placement Experience:

The placement process is pretty simple and the opportunities are really very great for a undergraduate. The return on investment is very good on this college.

Remarks:

The exclusivity of the course and the brand name of the college is the thing that excited me the most and the opportunities here are remarkable. Students get a lot of exposure with a good infrastructure unlike many DU colleges

Placement Experience:

The students have to meet the attendance criteria for placements. The top recruiters from SSCBS include Bain, BCG, McKinsey, PwC, EY, LEK, Dabur etc. They hire students for placement and internships in the fields of finance, consulting, data analysis etc. The last placement season witnessed almost 85% of BBA(FIA) students placed. The highest package as per the last report is around 26 Lpa and the average package is around 13 Lpa. The students usually go for placement and jobs or pursue a master's. Many students join top IIMs of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta to pursue Masters.

Remarks:

Factors: 1) Placement- The Placement of SSCBS is the best and highest among top DU colleges. The highest and average packages as per the latest report are 24 lpa and 13 lpa respectively. 2) Only finance course- Among all the colleges of DU, BBA(FIA) is offered mainly in SSCBS and SRCASW. For boys, SSCBS is the only option left for pursuing a finance-oriented course. 3) Professional environment- The infrastructure and environment of SSCBS is extremely professional like corporates and the crowd at the college is the best in the whole country. Every person tries to outperform the other and everyone is doing some or the other additional courses. There was no Group discussion or interview for selection. However selection took place through CUET and the subjects considered in CUET were English, General test and Mathematics for BBA(FIA) and BMS.

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement ratio in our college of almost about 80 to 90% of students getting placed who opted for it. As well as SSCBS also carries a good brand value helping you to get off-campus placements as well.

Remarks:

I cleared the CUET exam with an aggregate percentile of 99.8% in English, maths and general tests. Coming from a commerce background I always wanted to do something different from what everyone one was doing and then I got to know about BMS, a management for undergrad students having diversity in various fields of management. The decision to get into the SSCBS was based on its ranking by different organisations, placement records, environment, etc. Although it is an off-campus college still is considered in competition with the SRCC. The crowd over here is less but I always prefer quality over quantity. The students here are eager to learn about various aspects of the corporate world as well as entrepreneurship and startup culture in India. The only bad thing about this college is that the campus is relatively small and the work is really strict.

Placement Experience:

Placement and internships are what the majority of the students come to CBS for. Students are required to complete their summer internship after their second year to be eligible for the placement process. Students are also required to maintain a minimum CGPA to clear the cut-off for the placement process. Many esteemed organisations come to CBS for internship and placement opportunities like BCG, Bain & Company, Accenture, McKinsey & Company, LEK Group, Everest, Fischer Jordan, ABInBev, KPMG, Oxane Partners, Houlihan Lokey and many others. In the academic year 2022-34, 78 companies came to our college and extended more than 250 offers. The highest package offered amounted to INR 44.45 LPA. The average package amounted to an aggregate of INR 11.12 LPA. Approximately 80% of the students are offered consulting roles. 90% of the students are placed through the placement drives in our college. I am currently placed as a business analyst in a consulting firm.

Remarks:

My cousin's sister who had graduated from Hansraj that very year told me about Sukhdev. Then I evaluated the placement reports, the infrastructure, and the online reviews available. I realised that a college instituted 30-35 years back gave hard competition to already established colleges in the university. Moreover, there was a unique aptitude exam process by the name of the Delhi University Joint Aptitude Test (DU-JAT) to filter out candidates for their distinctive courses. The college offered industrially inspired courses which are highly demanded in the industry. I prepared for the DUJAT exam through online mode. I followed several mentors to strategise my preparation for the entrance exam. The admission was done on merit as well as the score obtained in the DU-JAT exam. A weightage of 65% to the entrance exam and the remaining 35% to merit. I final score was obtained by combining the two and ranks were calculated accordingly.
