A student can opt for placement after third year . Various companies such as infosys visit campus , and in civil engineering various firms visit campus , average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs and many students also opt for masters

Campus placements are not much, every candidate who wish to appear in placements and do not have any backlogs left can come. An average of 4 lakh is provided and the heighest package till date is 8 lakhs. Some companies that have come are Amazon, vipro etc. Most of the students here want to go for heigher studies and this there are low placements but the scores of our students in GATE exam is quite high . There are also some startups that are run by studentw who are currently studying and are in final or pre final years.

The placement rate of the college is very good. Last year's average salary package was about 6 LPA. Further, it depends upon the students how much they can perform in the interview for the placement. There are several companies which come to college campuses every year to hire students.

College does not take any responsibility for internship /training/placements However, there are placement cells formed by some students and professors who ensure that at least you get an opportunity to enter into the industry. In the past students were placed in Paytm, Amazon, ZScalar, HashedIn, etc But this year maximum companies that recruited students were Mohali-based startups. On average one can expect a package of 2-5LPA, for CS and IT branches, For the rest of the branches, only god knows In my case, many of my batchmates got placed in decent companies but I have plans to do a master's from IIT. So I cracked the GATE Exam and will pursue higher studies
