Placements have declined in the past 2 years but still you can get an average placement of 7 LPA. Around 70-74% students get placed during the placement drive. The highest package a student has got is 16 LPA. I am deciding to go for higher studies after my bachelor's degree.
At my time, admission was only made through JEE mains examination. But nowadays, it has also started taking admissions from NEET and CUET as well, also it also reserves 50 seats for open round admissions. I took admission in this college as it is a National Institute and it also holds an INI(Institute of National Importance) title.

Niftem-K is the best college for food technology established by the MOFPI present in India. You can get into NIFTEM-k by writting JEE mains and sitting is Jossa and Csab counselling. cut-off varies on the base of students applying for joining. you need to prepare for jee mains

Basically I have cleared jee exam and after that according to my percentile i get this college which will you get after getting almost 80+ percentile. I'm from josaa counselling but many students there are from csab and direct admissions also

The fact that i choosed this college is that i am having a background of food science and technology so thats why i want to be sticked to the field and along with that the fact is that its a autonomous institution recognized as a institute or national importance for the selection procedure first candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores in the cat/mat/cmat or niftem entrance after that you have to appear for the group discussion followed by the personal interview Some pro's of the niftem is its a institute of national importance Its a well renowned name in the field of food technology You will have a lot of startup opportunities You will have a lot of opportunities of exposure Great infrastructure Cons of selecting the niftem location would be a little odd Its on the border of delhi haryana A little bit transport issue and along with that loacality is not that much good

If you are good at studies, I guarantee you that you will get placed. College image in the food industry is very good. You can crack any government job (related to food) interview. All the best
Factors:- 1. There is a scholarship for everyone who has less than 1 lac income per annum. The name of the scholarship is TFW. 2. Good placement percentage approx. 90% of students placed through college placement. 3. Not too much study pressure. 4. More to explore 5. Best society culture 6. There is also a college fest called Edesia. 7. Good environment around the college. 8. In this course (food technology and management), you have more opportunities other than food like management, accounts, research field etc. 9. There are also many sports competitions held like winter sports league(WSL), NIFTEM sports league(NSL), volleyball league, Cricket league etc. 10. Here you have the opportunity to compete with other college students in games and studies. There is no group discussion, interviews or written tests for admission.

No separate test was conducted to gain admission to Niftem. admissions are done based on jee Main score and counseling through Jossa is done which confirms seats for students, also apart from Jossa students can get direct admission from the Niftems portal after Jossa counseling is done.

Read Full ReviewThere's different criteria for placement for different recruiters. Backlogs, CGPA are mainly the criteria for recruitment. Placement percentage is nearly 80-85%. Top recruiters are Mondelez, Zomato, Bakers Dozen, Cargill, Oceanic Blue and many. The top packages offered are near to 15 lakh per annum and average is 6-7 lakh per annum. My future plan is to start and work on a startup related to food processing.
It's near DELHI(NCR) and also an INI (INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE) college which have Specialisation in Food Technology and comes directly under the FOOD PROCESSING MINISTRY OF INDIA(MOFPI). It gives us more chances to work with government of India. The curriculum of B.Tech. in Food Technology and Management includes a range of Subjects and Topics from Science and Technology to Commerce and management. For getting admission in this college I have cleared JEE MAINS.

The good aspect is it is near delhi but connectivity is poor till jahangirpuri which is the nearest metro station. Here can take admission through jee mains and direct admission is also available if seats are vacant. Cut off is about 85 percentile in mains and there is no gd and pi. I take normal jee coaching
