JIIT Noida Admission Dates 2027

JIIT Noida has completed the 2026-27 admission cycle. For B.Tech, the institute uses two equal admission routes: 50% of seats through JEE Main merit and 50% through Class 12 PCM merit. The next cycle for 2027-28 is expected to begin with JEE Main 2027 registration.

JIIT Noida Courses and Fees

JIIT offers more than 50 programmes at UG, PG, and doctoral levels in engineering, technology, management, and science. B.Tech has the largest seat intake. The fees listed below are for the General category and show the total programme cost under the current semester fee structure.

The newer additions at JIIT include M.Tech in Quantum Technology and B.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. The 5-year B.Tech + M.Tech integrated course lets students finish both degrees in five years instead of the usual six years.

JIIT Noida Admission Process

JIIT Noida follows its own admission process. Students apply through the JIIT website, and the institute releases merit lists for selection. They do not need to use any state or central counselling portal for JIIT admission.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, half the seats are allotted through JEE Main AIR and the other half through Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aggregate. JIIT does not conduct a separate entrance test for B.Tech.

• Eligibility: Class 12 with PCM, which means Physics, Chemistry or CS, and Maths, with at least 60% aggregate
• Track 1 (JEE): A valid JEE Main AIR is needed. For General category CSE, allotment closes near AIR 80,910
• Track 2 (Merit): A Class 12 PCM aggregate of 75%+ is preferred for CSE
• Students must apply through the JIIT admission portal, pay the registration fee, and upload documents
• After provisional allotment, students complete fee payment and reporting

This two-route system gives admission chances to both JEE Main rank holders and strong Class 12 students. The final B.Tech degree is the same for both tracks.

MBA Admission

For MBA, applicants need a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. JIIT accepts CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or GMAT scores. Shortlisted students appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds at the campus. MBA specialisations include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, IT, Operations, Business Analytics, Data Science and AI, Education Management, and Healthcare Management.

M.Tech and M.Sc Admission

M.Tech applicants must have a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline. A GATE score is preferred, but non-GATE students may be considered on merit if seats remain available. For M.Sc, students need a B.Sc or equivalent degree in the related subject. Applications are filed on the JIIT portal, after which departments release merit lists.

JIIT Noida Placements

JIIT Noida has a strong placement record among private engineering universities in Delhi NCR. In 2025-26, more than 433 companies took part and gave over 1,224 offers. Most placement activity was led by B.Tech students from CSE, IT, and AI/ML branches.

The highest package for 2025-26 was INR 94.25 LPA. The average package stood at INR 11.03 LPA, while the median package was INR 7.01 LPA. The placement cell trains B.Tech students in aptitude, coding, and soft skills through all four years.

Recruiters come from software development, data science, cybersecurity, and product management. JIIT also benefits from its location near Delhi-based technology and consulting offices. Within the batch, B.Tech CSE and AI/ML students report the strongest package outcomes.

JIIT Noida Rankings

In NIRF 2025, JIIT Noida is listed in the 101-150 band for Engineering. The institute also has NBA accreditation for its main engineering programmes, which checks programme quality against national standards.

JIIT received DoT recognition in 2024 for its 5G Use Case Lab, which was chosen among 100 institutes in India. The university also reports 50 national and international awards for faculty and student research work.

JIIT Noida Campus and Infrastructure

JIIT has a 46.94-acre main campus in Sector 62, Noida, with access to the Delhi Metro Blue Line. Its built-up area of more than 1,52,219 square metres includes department buildings, research labs, a central library, sports complex, and a 2,500-seat auditorium. The Sector 128 campus, also called JIIT 128, is used for some programmes.

The institute has a DST-FIST supported research facility, a DoT-recognised 5G Use Case Lab, ICMR-supported Biotechnology labs, and computer and electronics labs in different departments. The library gives students access to IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer digital databases. There are five hostels for male and female students, with annual charges up to INR 2.2 Lakhs. Students also use the sports ground, gymnasium, canteen, and student activity centre.

Students looking for private engineering or technology universities in Delhi NCR often compare JIIT Noida with Amity University Noida and Bennett University Greater Noida. All three are private deemed universities in the NCR region and offer B.Tech and MBA courses.

JIIT has an edge in NIRF Engineering ranking and keeps a clearer technology focus than Amity, which has a wider multi-discipline setup. Bennett University has strong media and journalism programmes linked to the Times Group, which helps students interested in media-related careers. Amity has a larger national brand and wider reach among recruiters. For students focused on technology, competitive fees, and a listed NIRF Engineering position, JIIT is the stronger option among these three.
