We get admission on the basis of our JEE scorecard. Cut-off varies year to year but approximately it is same somewhere like at 87 percentile in last round you can get CSE. There is also spot round after three normal rounds.

I have taken the UPTU exam but from now on they take admission from JEE score. I have chosen this college just because my elder siblings have passed out from this college and everyone is working with someone today at a very good designation.

I got 86 percentile in my JEE MAINS exam which was around 128000 rank. I found this college while exploring and got CSE in my second round. Admission was based on JEE MAINS rank, through a counseling process conducted by the college itself. There was no other examination besides JEE. If I talk about the good aspects of this college then..it has good infrastructure, well-qualified faculties, well-equipped labs, and other facilities under this fee structure and it gives a complete university experience as it is inside the Kanpur University Campus. The bad aspect is less competition and average placements.

UIET is one of the best engineering colleges in my city and it is near my home too. It is situated in a very good location. UIET fee is in the very affordable range and in this college, there are too many scholarship opportunities. UIET also conducts many games and extracurricular activities for students and provides career services and academic support also help the students in grabbing internship opportunities. For my course (BCA), UIET doesn't conduct any Group Discussions, Interviews, or Written Tests for admission. There is a direct merit-based admission procedure in BCA. UIET takes admission for BCA based on class 12th results and there is a cut-off procedure.

Yes, I had taken the state engineering exam of Uttar Pradesh to be admitted to this college. The main factor to take this college is location. I think Kanpur can give me a good opportunity for a job. I am preparing for this state examination from Varanasi Uttar Pradesh by taking individual classes in all three subjects I;e Physics, chemistry, and maths. I got rank 8014 in the examination.

Specially the academics was just great and the infrastructure of the college is so beautiful and one plus point is they give us golden opportunities to explore ourselves. Teachers are so sensible. Every thing is good and amazing

College campus life is good, the faculty is just fine, and this year our college got an NAAC A ++ rating. We as a student have to work much harder if we want to get placed after graduation. I took admission through UPSEE exams conducted by AKTU and selected this college in UPSEE counseling and the cutoff was ok for an above-average student to take admission. But now our college takes admission only through Jee Mains score and the cutoff starts from the best and goes to the worst. If you want admission in B.Tech all you need to do is qualify jee mains. Not the worst but yes 3-4 lakhs rank students can also take admission and start working hard in college. I got admission to this college through self-study. There are lots of study materials available online.

You have to take the Jee examination and sit in the counseling done by the College itself and if you meet the criteria you will get admission to the college. Branch upgradation and internal sliding are also available.
