College is good for students who are preparing for higher studies.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good like every lab is well equipped.
Campus is also amazing as everywhere greenery is present.

What I didn’t like

Placement is not that much good but we can expect as it is mine first year.
Some faculties are not that much good. When we ask something they used to ignore.

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is average. The average package is somewhere around 4 to 5 lakhs. The highest oncampus placement of this year is 19lpa from cse AI. Placement is improving every year so we can expect that in future it will improve.

Internships Opportunities:

As I am in first year so I have not opted for any internship till now. But as I see my seniors are engaged in internships, College is providing internship but maximum time you have to find internship by yourself.

You will not regret . Nice College

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good having auditorium, swimming pool , library etc. Also each department of btech having different building and areas are separate for different department. Canteen is also there nearby each department.
Faculty is quite helpful. Your own department faculty will always help you if you are genuine

What I didn’t like

Placement opportunities i don't like because sometimes you will not get to know which company come and go
Security guard they will also stoping you from doing anything if you are doing study then they will interupt you too.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities have increased here in the last 2 3 years as compared to before companies like Nucleus Software, Accenture, Step2Gen, and Tech Mahindra came here. TPO provides good opportunities to students. It's totally up to you if you study you will get placed in good company otherwise not.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides internship opportunities but it is not that good sometimes they are unpaid also so better to find your own in a good organization. I have searched for internships from Internshala the college placement department doesn't focus on internships. All the unpaid information comes from the university end which is useless.

What I Liked

The most loving thing here is campus infrastructure and lush green campus.
It provide a atmosphere to socialize yourself.

What I didn’t like

Placements can be improved and attract more companies.
Rule and regulations are too strict in campus.

Placement Experience:

On-campus placement records are not very good. Most of the students get placed off campus. Though the campus has its dedicated placement cell the placement rate is around 40 to 50 percent. The average package is around 4 lakh to 5 lakh. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue higher education like a master's.

Internships Opportunities:

Till now I have not opted for any internship in the field of computer science. However, I'm completing DSA and looking for an intern opportunity. Though I'm a Campus Ambassador intern in a firm, they provide me a stipend of 1000 a month.

Life in UIET Kanpur

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement depend upon the companies but the minimum you have to score an overall CGPA of 8.0 out of 10. Some top recruiters are IBM, TCS, Wipro, Dell, Accenture, etc. 50 offers are made by these companies. The highest package offered by the company is 7 LPA and the average package offered by the company is 3 LPA. The percentage of students who are getting placements is 40 %.

Faculty, extra calculler activities, administration
Sports facilities, manegment, college placement

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college is nill for all branches other than Computer science and Information technology. All facilities of jobs are only for those two branches. So you can say that placement is not fine for other branches.

Internships Opportunities:

I have done my internship at Banaras Locomotive Workshop. I have done here product engineering work. I have to maintain all the trainee's work and check the quality of products. I have enjoyed my time at an internship. I haven't got any stipend.

What I Liked

Mainly the infrastructure and the campus
Faculties was very good and the academics is amazing

Nothing college was good the on thing I dislike the most is some college students.
Only students in college are very bad and I'm only talking sone students not every

Placement Experience:

As I'm in my first year I don't know much about placements and internships but I have a little bit of information from my seniors and they tell us if you give your best then there are chances for good placements as good companies are visiting the college and giving good packages also.

Internships Opportunities:

No, as I'm a first year student I haven't opted for any internship. But at present time I'm working on my skills to get the best internships with good experience and opportunities to explore myself to be the best developer.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is great. Our whole campus is beautiful.
Faculty as an overall is just fine. But don't worry they will help you.

Placement Experience:

If you are happy to work hard for four years continuously and finally get a full-time job of 3.6 lpa CTC then is college has a very good placement. Students who get higher packages work very hard and get placed off-campus through LinkedIn or Indeed. If you want to sit for placements then you will need a minimum of 6.5 cpi and you are good to go. The only thing is the companies ask more for what they give. I am looking for opportunities off campus.

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't get any internship opportunities from my college, I had to work hard to get one on my own. I have been an intern for 2 months but I had to leave my internship because attendance is important.

What I Liked

College have high tech classroom having smart classes and ac rooms , including high performance computer labs .
College have swimming pool , stadium , mini lake , helipad in it .

What I didn’t like

As it's a university you will get mixed type of students .
Mess of hostel is not upto the mark sometimes .

Placement Experience:

UIET has faced many obstacles in the placements, but from the last 2-year placement it's awesome that students already had a 42LPA offer, and the college has Produced GATE AIR 3 in CS/IT this year. Internships and placements are highly promoted and taken care of.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, I have done an internship at Accenture India Pvt. limited, and many start-ups offer internships based on your skills the stipend may vary from 10000-100000 based upon the skills you deliver.
