There are enough placements and job opportunities in the campus bigger corporate companies comes every year for placement, and there will be an interview and aptitude test for the same. Based on the results you scores you will get offer letters for the job. The visited recruiters were Cisco, IBM, TCS, cognizant, Tata elxsi, Visteon, EY, UST global etc The highest package was 26 lpa and average was 6 lpa. Around 75% students gets placed. For Placements, CUSAT Is good when Compared To Others, But Not Everyone In The Branch gets it, It Is Difficult In Students Of EEE To Get A Placement In the Core Itself Most of The Students get Selected in IT Sectors. As Students Do Not Get Qualified For Some Placements As EEE Is Damn tough. It Is Difficult to Land A Job Through Placements, The Only Good Placements In CUSAT are For SFE (Safety And Fire Engineering) With 100% Placement at An Average of 10LPA

Weak. In generally the placement is good at cusat but our placement was weak. Because our course is a new one and there publicity is less. So many of the company don't know about the course and there future.

The placements for mechanical engineering is less compared to other branches. Like CS, IT,Safety and Fire engineering, Naval architecture and ship building. Although there is many add on courses available for mechanical engineers so, many of us are choosing higher education instead of placements.

Placements are the best in cusat especially for safety and fire.The average package for safety is 13lpa and the highest package is 24lpa. GAIL,IOCL,BPL,NAYARA,ADANI are some of the top recruiters who offer above 20lpa

The placement is okayish here . Students in safety and fire , computer science and it have more chance in securing placement. Only a few electrical companies come for placement . This year reliance , l and t , tata power , tce , tcs mssqaure were the major companies that recruited students this year .

Placement are there but not that much placements for Mechanical Engineering. Computer Engineering and Fire & safety engineering have high placements. Eligibility criteria for placements is there should not be any back papers while you are applying for the placement and minimum you should have CGP of 7.5. In this year 7 companies came till now and a lot more to come, Some of them are Federal bank, Daikin, Tata consultancy, Shobha constructions, Reliance etc. Highest package for a mechanical student till now is 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 8 lakhs per annum. I'm opting for higher studies and that's my plan as of now.

A lot of companies come here for placement This college has NBA tier 1 accreditation.. There are people who get really high salary but not specifically in their core jobs. But the certificate has great value due to its NBA accreditation..

Placement are average with roughly aroun 5.5-6 L/Annum. companies like cisco ,tcs ,accenture,sap labs , ey, soti , ibm , rently ,infosys , lascade , comes(maybe different one or two). lowest offer was around 3.5 by tcs, and others but higher by cisco. Around 60-70% get placed. Candidate should have 7.5 or above GPA.
