Ques. How is IISER Pune better than IISER Kolkata?
Ans. IISER Pune outperforms IISER Kolkata in terms of possibilities. IISER Pune has more collaborations than any other IISER. We all know how much space IISER Kolkata has compared to IISER Pune, therefore it's easier for them to work on it, and IISER Pune is in the city. IISER Kolkata has twice the amount of land, thus even if a portion of it is under construction, the majority will always be green. IISER Kolkata has some of the top faculty and research, as well as superb infrastructure.
Ques. How is life at IISER Pune?
Ans. If you want to learn about science, understand some truly "amazing" science, or have the silliest of science conversations with anyone, IISER is the place to go (literally anyone from friends to professors). IISER Pune, a member of the Association of Indian Universities, offers BS-MS, integrated Ph.D. (iPhD), Ph.D., and International Ph.D. programs.
Ques. How is life after graduating from IISER Pune?
Ans. IISER graduates have a professional path that is more or less focused on research. That stated, after earning a BS-MS from an IISER, there is nothing stopping students from pursuing a job as an engineer. Recruiters from reputable firms such as Ranbaxy, Unilever, GE Healthcare, Dr. Reddy's, Shell, L'Oreal, Glenmark, and others attend the annual placements at IISER.
Ques. What are the advantages of studying at IISER Pune? Which are the courses offered by IISER?
Ans. In the realm of basic science, IISER offers numerous opportunities. It's a five-year integrated BS-MS program. Students are taught all of the science topics in the first year (physics, chemistry, biology, arithmetic, computer science, and geological science) so that they have a fundamental understanding of all of them. In essence, it gives you one more chance after class 12 to determine the topics you want to pursue in the future.
Ques. How would you describe the hostel life in IISER Pune?
Ans. The campus is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for roaming, sitting, and chit-chatting. Every building is open at all times, ensuring that there is never a shortage of ‘your own place. Nobody ever asks you why you're anywhere. There isn't any strange dress code. The majority of students wear shorts or even more casual clothing to class. There are no limits on when you can enter or leave the campus. There are no unjustified separate rules or restrictions that discriminate against any gender without jeopardizing safety. IISER Pune has one of the most gender-balanced communities of all the Indian research institutes.

One of best thing of this college is that it has best labs in india.other than that it's oversease relationship is also great . And one other reason is college faculty, actually the scientist that work here are also work as faculty
Read Full ReviewI was very interested in science and biology and wanted to pursue research. This is one of the most reputed and prestigious colleges in the country in this field and was a dream to get into. It's admission is done on the basis of the IAT examination that is required for all IISERs and for IISc. It requires a minimum of 90% in 12th boards CBSE but the cut off is lower in case of reservations. Cut off varies year to year depending on the ranks and amount of people opting for the college.
Read Full ReviewI want to go in research field i.e why I got enrolled in this course . I had to give IAT exam to get into the college. I prepared for the IAT exam from an online coaching name Sciastra.
Read Full ReviewI am fascinated by the level of research in all domains of science and mathematics at this institution. It provides world-class instrumentation facilities to its students. The admission for MSc Chemistry here is based on the rank obtained in IIT JAM. If your rank lies around 600-700, you have a good chance of selection here(Gen. category). The only problem you might face here is of food, which you can easily overcome as the online food delivery applications are all over internet.
Read Full Revieweverything is good in campus but it is not made for those who are especially for only placement. As it is a research college so there is not so placement as many of student chose higher education instead of getting any placement opportunity. Also the admission criteria here is by the exam conducted by iiser is IAT by which you can get admission through it in the undergraduate program. There is normally 3-4 rounds generally happen for admission and you call for counselling process in college for admiison which is not so hectic.
Read Full ReviewI am interested in doing research and becoming a scientist that's why I chose iiser. Iiser prepares its students for research starting from the UG level itself. The main bad aspect of IISERP is its hectic academic workload. I got admitted into IISERP through IISER Aptitude Test which is an annual entrance test. It tests your ability in PCMB. The difficulty is comparable to JEE mains and neet. I started my preparation by preparing for the next. School math knowledge and NEET-level prep for PCB were enough for me to crack the IAT.
