Placement Experience:

Now the placements are average as a final year student because of recession period. The eligibility to sit for placements is to have no blockages or no standing arrears at the time of placement. Some companies even expect to have no history of arrears at all.

Remarks:

Good infrastructure and good placements till 2023. As of now the placements are reduced because of the recession time. I chose this college because of its discipline that the college is following till now.

Placement Experience:

Placement is given well with almost 1500 students placed through campus placements. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, Avasoft, etc. Are what come mostly, offering an average of 4-6 lakhs per annum. Most of the companies have a criteria that students should not have any standing arrears or history of arrears. Students with high CGPA get into the selection round for high package jobs. After my degree, I'm planning on having a startup which I'm working towards and side by side work for 2 years, after which I'd like to do masters on business and management integration with IT. Overall, on campus placements is a boon for students with atleast an average CGPA, no arrears and decent communication skills who are good to go with an average of 4-6 lakhs per annum

Remarks:

I had written and cleared my IELTS examination back when I was pursuing my 12th in U.A.E in order to pursue my higher studies in Canada, while my mom wanted me to continue studying in Dubai. Due to the immigration policy and high fees structure in Canada, we later decided to move to Chennai. I wanted to study in SRM or VIT, considering how liberal it is. Upon discussion with my parents on how cost efficient this college is, how strict and well-maintained it is, how good the food is and how good the placements are, I decided to move into this college. There are no written tests or interviews or group interview for this. All that's required is your 12th Boards mark. For NRI/Gulf students, they send a team to conduct an open house for enrolling students.

Placement Experience:

The eligbility criteria for appearing for placements will differ based on the companies that come for placement There are placement training programs like placement empowerment program and the house of programming expertise to train students for placements the average package that every student will be getting is around 5LPA

Remarks:

The college atmosphere is very strict The food facilities are decent The transportation is fast and is always on time but sometimes we donot get a seat to sit in the bus The first year students will be controlled very strictly and gradually the pressure will be reduced from 2nd year there are a lot of unnecessary rules to be followed like tie, Tuckin and clean shave

Placement Experience:

It's excellent that the placement rate at your college is around 85%, indicating a strong track record of securing employment opportunities for students. The availability of placement classes starting from the 6th semester demonstrates the college's commitment to preparing students for the job market and enhancing their employability skills. This proactive approach to career development likely contributes to the success of students in securing placements through campus interviews. Overall, it sounds like the college provides valuable support and resources to help students transition from academics to professional careers successfully.

Remarks:

I choose St. Joseph College of Engineering were primarily its low fees and reputation for good teaching. d Despite drawbacks in food and infrastructure, the affordability and quality of education were key factors for me. I am able to secure admission to St. Joseph College of Engineering through a management quota, bypassing the need for admission exams, group discussions, or interviews. This pathway often allows students to gain admission based on other criteria, such as payment of a higher fee or other arrangements made directly with the college administration
