What I Liked

Sports ground , good auditorium, health lifestyle,cultural activities
Classes are done extraordinary here , teachers are very friendly .

What I didn’t like

There are many seminars done here this is not liked by me .
College playground during tournament did not have facilities for practicing every department.

Placement Experience:

Direct placement is not available here for under graduate students . Post graduate students have some scope for direct placement. But here held many types of discussion about job opportunities for future in various seminar . Here we have upsc coaching classes facility also

Internships Opportunities:

Internships done here in every year .. under graduate of 2nd year . Such as Wipro Philips Paytm comes here with their project every here . Outside of campus internships also done here every year . One cam take facilities fromhere

Best campus of our college

What I Liked

The college campus is very beautiful.
the infrastructure of the college is lovely.

What I didn’t like

To staying in the hostel is compulsory.
In our college there are held seminar in valueable topics in every week , it may be beneficial for any candidate but I used to about this .

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college the good , basically in the department of computer science , statistics and chemistry there are direct company placement. And other course the placement is in IIT, IISC, TIFR, CMI etc.

Internships Opportunities:

In this college there are an internship opportunity in second year of every students . And also other on campus internship available for those students who are interested for that internship opportunity.

All about RKMRC, Narendrapur

What I Liked

My department teachers and their teaching methodologies The library and the long term book system where you get some books throughout the semester.
No ragging in the campus due to strict disciplinary systems. Infrastructure of college is awesome . There is also a swimming pool over there

What I didn’t like

The prayer system is too much frustrating
Strict disciplinary system is good but sometimes it's too much frustrating. Yoy can't go out of the college campus after 6 pm. You have to strictly come to hostel within 6 pm if you go out after your college hours. 75% attendance is minimum to sit in the semester examination. Also if you don't go to classes without informing any Maharaj there will be a fine of ₹1000. You'll only be allowed to go home twice in a month that too after 2 months of your admission.

Placement Experience:

There are no such placement opportunities in the UG level. But there are some internship opportunities. You can find them on your own. Also college will send you too for internships. My plan is to do master's after I get the degree. Our department has a preety much good reputation in all India level JAM and ISI exams, every year top rankers come out in these exams from our college. Like in the previous year the ISI MSTAT AIR 1 Sayak Panja was from our college.

Internships Opportunities:

No I'm currently at the first year of my studies. So I haven't got any opportunity to have an internship. I have done a SWAYAM NPTEL course in the first semester.But after 3rd semester you have to go for internship. You can find it on your own or the college will send you there

Review on ramakrishna mission residential college.

What I Liked

The environment is so good for study after all.
Teacher's are so good and collaborative.

What I didn’t like

College labs are not so good and maintenance not so good.
Placement cell is not good and campus life not good at all.

Placement Experience:

In BSC I haven't seen any placement cell came.But after msc some companies came and some students are placed in those companies,but now a days visited recruiters are too low.Highest package I had seen 8.5lpa and low 3lpa.

Internships Opportunities:

I have not applied for any internship yet because I want to go for higher study,but some students are looking for internship,may be to get internship it will be very difficult.Companies like HSBC,PWC,TCS had came.

All about a dream

What I Liked

Playground available, friends available, teacher available at here
You can feel pressure of study, feel competition, enjoy your hostel life.

What I didn’t like

No girl available. Only boys are allowed
You have to attained every class every day One day absent without any reason mean you will be punished.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not possible for most of the departments because when you do BSC or BA it means you have to go govt. Job line. But few departments like chemistry, cs few students sometimes got placement which is rare

Internships Opportunities:

Till now I have had no idea about internship because I am a 2nd-year student. But in 4 th year I have to go for an internship. From senior I got some information about internship so there is no problem it is very sure.

What I Liked

Very eco friendly. Lots of greenery in the heart of a big city.
The faculty is very good, kind and helpful. They help you reach your goals.

What I didn’t like

The hostel food is mediocre. It's good for body, but tastes bad.
The placement cell is just established. Not very helpful for B.A students

Placement Experience:

Placement cell has been recently established. Mostly the B.Sc students get scouted by MNCs for technical roles. The B.A students who join mostly aim to go for academics, like M.A and PhD. Some organisations like STEM and BYJUs are common recruiters.

Internships Opportunities:

Students are encouraged to join internships. Most students find internships from Internshala. There is no help from the institution to find internships, sometimes even discouraged, because it may reduce study time and affect marks.

What I Liked

The most mentionable thing about the residential college is the sports opportunities it provides. You can play any sport you want and if you perform well you get to play in the inter department and inter college ones .
The infrastructure of the college is better than other Calcutta University colleges.

What I didn’t like

The food of the mess is a bit downgraded and not worth the money.
The hostel superintendent is a bit strict and won't let you go home sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The college provides a summer internship program but doesn't have any placement cell till now. The statistics department however provides many opportunities to the students to join any job through the contact of ex-students and whatsoever every student of this department either does their masters in ISI or IIT.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for a summer internship in my 4th semester. I am currently in my 2nd semester, so basically I don't know much. However, the details of the internship program are mentioned on the official site of the college itself.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure and the behaviour of our professors ap much. They are very friendly and helpful.
I like the hostel and beautiful environment of Narendrapur. Here the scope of group study is one of the best highlights.

What I didn’t like

The food given here is not up to the mark and could be much better.
I don't like the system of gate pass. One have to take gate pass to get out of the campus. So, one can't go out more than once a day.

Placement Experience:

No placements are offered from our department after the bachelors. There's also no scope of Master's degree in Statistics in our College. But our faculty prepare students for all exams and make the students brilliant to get admitted in reputed colleges. Our students score much higher marks and obtain best AIR in JAM. Previous year the 1st boy in JAM was from our college.

I don't know placement in Ramakrishna Mission Residential college. because I am a 1st-year student. I think 60-70 average placement in this college.it is my thing. I am not sure about this placement. so, please understand my say.

Internships Opportunities:

First of all am creak gate exam national. I want to job Tata TCS company. I also want a job at Google company and software company.it is a choice. My project is made of software. web. I am very interested in doing a job in Tata TCS company.

My Life at RKMRC

What I Liked

The modern infrastructure, along with greenery in the campus.
Student friendly teaching faculty and the option for co curricular activities.

What I didn’t like

The fact that we have to stay away from home is a bit hurting but the hostels are so lively that it always feels like home.
The sanitary system needs to better and also if the college provides placements that would be better for students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not offered at this college. Most of the students qualify for highly reputed institutions for their master's degree. After completing their master's most students get high-salary jobs and and large number of our alumni are NRIs around the world.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I have not applied for any internships. However, our college provides options for various internship programs. We also have submitted a number of projects for our honours and generic elective subjects based on current modern topics following the syllabus.
