Selection Process for BA, BCom and BMS

Seat allocation depends entirely on CUET UG scores through DU CSAS. Interviews, group discussions and extracurricular activities do not form part of the selection process. Each applicant must correctly match the CUET UG domain subjects required for the chosen Ramanujan College programme.

  • For a BA Hons course, the relevant domain paper is the main selection subject. Examples include English for BA Hons English and Political Science for BA Hons Political Science.
  • For BCom and BCom Hons, the CUET UG sections in Mathematics and Accountancy or Business Studies receive weightage.
  • For BMS, Mathematics and Business Studies are important CUET UG sections. A stronger score in these papers improves the chance of receiving an allotment.
  • DU reservation applies category-wise: OBC-NCL 27%, SC 15%, ST 7.5%, EWS 10% and PwD 5% horizontally.

DU CSAS permits an applicant to request an upgrade in later rounds. A student allotted a seat in Round 1 should retain it while taking part in Round 2 for a preferred course or college. Withdrawing from the first allotment means losing that seat.
