NEET PG Exam Dates: 2026 Reference

Registration, correction, city intimation and admit-card release are different events. The earlier application bulletin gave 30 September as the result deadline; the result was actually declared on 24 September.

A test-city notice identifies the allotted city. The admit card provides the examination venue and reporting instructions. Do not treat the city-intimation date as the hall-ticket release date. The application guide explains the two correction windows.

Examination and Jaipur Re-Exam

The main examination took place on 30 August 2026. A power failure affected Jaipur centres TC41682 and TC41683, and the affected candidates took their re-examination on 5 September. This was not a second session open to all applicants.

The result notice gives 2,63,544 appearances on the main date and 2,416 on the re-exam date. Those separate counts should not be read as the number who qualified or as a nationwide pass percentage.

Result and Scorecard Dates

The 24 September result declaration and the 1 October scorecard release are separate milestones. From 1 October, candidates could also access their individual response-and-answer-key record in the applicant login.

The scorecard remains available for six months from issuance. It is system-generated and is not sent individually by post or email. Save the record for admission and document verification. The result guide explains raw marks, rank and the tie-breaking order.

MCC Counselling Schedule 2026

The dates below are the tentative MCC 2026 timetable. Academic-session commencement is listed as 20 November 2026. State counselling follows separate schedules.

Registration includes payment, while choice filling and locking have their own deadlines. The next table gives the closing times; a date without its time can hide a morning deadline.

Registration, Payment and Choice Closing Times

All times are Indian Standard Time. Round 1 choice locking runs from 4 PM on 21 October to 10 AM on 22 October. Round 2 locking runs from 4 PM on 11 November to 10 AM on 12 November; Round 3 from 4 PM on 1 December to 10 AM on 2 December. Stray-round locking runs from 4 PM to 11:55 PM on 21 December.

The counselling process explains what to do after allotment, including the 2026 Freeze/Float distinction. Admission actions must be completed within the relevant reporting window, not merely before the next round starts.
