Previous-Year Question Compilations

These downloads are question compilations, not NBEMS-issued complete booklets. Keep their year and actual length with the attempt. The 2024 Shift 1 file ends at question 142; the 2019 and 2018 files contain 293 and 295 questions respectively.

The older PDFs contain cover instructions that do not consistently match the NEET PG examination for their labelled year. Use them for subject questions, not as the authority for current duration, total marks or section navigation. The confirmed paper structure is the reference for those rules.

Topics Found in the Downloads

A collection's opening topics do not establish the full paper's subject weightage. Use the MBBS syllabus map to track areas beyond the selected recall questions. Image-dependent questions need their image and full options before they can be meaningfully attempted.

How to Build a Timed Attempt

The 2026 paper used five groups of 36 questions, with 42 minutes for each group. For a practice block, choose 36 complete questions before starting, keep the key hidden and stop changing answers at the block boundary.

A complete five-group practice requires 180 questions and 210 minutes. A 142-question recall file cannot supply that full count by itself. Repeating the same questions to reach 180 changes the exercise because some items are no longer unseen.

For a smaller set, report its own denominator. Under +4/-1/0 marking, 18 correct, eight wrong and four blank answers in a 30-question exercise give 64 out of 120. That is not a score out of 720.

Official Response Keys and Recalled Solutions

For 2026, NBEMS released a personal response-and-answer-key record through the applicant login from 1 October. It identifies questions, correct key IDs, selected responses and per-question marks. This is different from a publisher's recalled question compilation.

Question and option order can differ between candidates. Match the actual question and the option text in the personal record instead of copying another person's option-number sequence.

When reviewing a historical compilation, keep the question's clinical context and complete options together. A recalled answer without its case details can become ambiguous; it should not be used to invent a national score or cutoff.

Attempt and Review Original Questions

The four original questions below use one hypothetical screening study. They test sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and false-positive counts. All numbers needed for the answers are in the supplied case.

Choose your responses before submitting. The review shows correct, wrong and unanswered items with explanations. Retry contains only the missed or unanswered items; restart restores the full set. The displayed accuracy belongs to that selected set, not the whole NEET PG syllabus.

After review, identify whether an error came from choosing the wrong denominator, misclassifying a test result or arithmetic. The preparation guide uses the same error-specific approach for clinical and image questions.
