NEET PG is one computer-based paper that you clear section by section. The pattern below has held steady for years. The only recent change, from 2024, is the timed-section lock.
- Total questions: 200 single-best-answer MCQs across 19 subjects
- Duration and marks: 3 hours 30 minutes, 800 marks in total
- Marking: +4 for a correct answer, -1 for a wrong one, 0 if you leave it blank
- Section lock (2024 onwards): 5 sections of 40 questions, 42 minutes each, with no going back

How to Use NEET PG Previous Year Papers
A past paper only helps if you review it well. Use each one as a test first, then fix what you got wrong.
- Sit the paper as a timed 3.5-hour test before you open the solutions.
- Mark every wrong answer and split them into careless slips and real gaps.
- Open the solution PDF for that year and write each correction in one notebook.
- Aim for 140 to 155 attempts at about 85% accuracy.
