Ans. All students willing to appear for the NEET PG 2023 must pay a non-refundable examination fee of INR 4,250 (applicable for General, OBC and EWS categories) or INR 3,250 (applicable for SC, ST and PWD categories). All payment transactions must be conducted through online mode. The students who do not pay the examination fee are not eligible to sit for NEET PG 2023.
Ques. Which college is better – KGMU Lucknow or SMS Jaipur?
Ans. According to NIRF 2023 Rankings, KGMU Lucknow is ranked at 12th position, whereas SMS Jaipur is ranked at 46th position. KGMU Lucknow is, thus, one of the top autonomous medical institutions in India whereas SMS Jaipur lags far behind KGMU, not only in terms of reputation but also with respect to the number and extent of available cases. Additionally, KGMU Lucknow offers a better pay grade to its students when compared to SMS Jaipur.
Ques. Which college is better – Kolkata Medical College or Madras Medical College (MMC)?
Ans. According to the NIRF 2023 Rankings, Madras Medical College (MMC) has been ranked at 11th position, whereas Kolkata Medical College has been ranked at 45th position. In terms of college administration and education, MMC is far better than Kolkata Medical College. The hostel facilities available at MMC are also considerably better in terms of both available facilities and cleanliness. However, MMC had a few cases of ragging in the past years. The Kolkata Medical College had no such past reports and follows a strict NO RAGGING policy. Both Institutes have equally good faculty and infrastructure. Therefore, MMC stands at a somewhat better position as compared to Medical College, Kolkata.
