Lady Hardinge Medical College admissions are entrance-based for MBBS, MD, MS, D.M, M.Ch, B.Sc (Hons) Nursing. The candidates are required to qualify for the entrance test followed by the counselling process. The admissions are made through NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET MDS, and NEET SS. I always wanted to be a doctor hence I chose MBBS. the faculty has a lot of experience and all of them are highly qualified. they teach by different methods in the form of lectures, small group discussions, self-directed learning, and various practical classes. term exams are held twice a year and they are moderately difficult. cost of studying is as mentioned is just 5000rs for the entire duration of the course. every year scholarships and financial assistance are also given to needy students.

Placement Experience:

placement rate is high as doctors who pass out of our prestigious college get landed at good PG seats. All of the students after 4.5 years have to compulsorily do internships at the associated hospitals. after completion my degree, I would like to sit for the PG entrance exams.

After an internship of one 1year which is paid one can either directly give an interview and work as a junior resident or take NEET PG exam and do PG afterwards You must complete UG from any registered CBME medical college and must do an internship in a medical college for 1 year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBs are the dream of a lot of people. You take exams at the end of every year. It's like preboards and boards and are called setups and final proofs. Sentups are like preparation for final proof. Setup is conducted by your college whereas proofs are by Delhi University. In between the years, you might have internal assessments.

Remarks:

You are required to take a new UG examination and according to your scores, you get the college. For AIQ your rank should be under 600 approx and for DU quota 8k. It can vary according to category but the average is 600 for aiq and 8k for du quota.

All faculties in medical colleges are doctors with post graduates and higher qualifications in their respective subjects. Method of teaching is through presentations and clinical teaching in hospitals. University professional exams are held yearly and in between the year college takes various internal exams.

Placement Experience:

Mandatory internship has to be done in our own hospitals ( Sucheta Kriplani Hospital and Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital) for 1 year after the completion of degree. After which individual can choose her own choice of job , maybe as a junior resident, medical officer or postgraduate student.
