What's New in NEET PG Cutoff 2024?
MCC has lowered the NEET PG Cutoff for counselling. Now, the cutoff percentile for General/EWS category is 15, and for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates is 10. Candidates whose percentile is equal to or above the cutoff can participate in NEET PG round 3 counselling.
The announcement of the NEET PG 2024 result is accompanied by the release of the NEET PG Cut off scores for each category. Candidates who pass the NEET PG Cut off can use MCC's NEET PG 2024 Counseling to apply for 19,953 MD seats, 10,821 MS seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats. ;

NEET PG Cutoff 2023 has been reduced to Zero for all categories by NMC. NEET PG Cutoff is determined based on the number of candidates who sat for the exam, the number of qualified candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, the previous year’s cutoff, reservation criteria and number of seats available.

NEET PG 2024 Merit List
NEET PG Merit List 2024 of the qualified and successful candidates under 50% All India Quota seats will be prepared by the NBE on the basis of the score obtained in NEET 2024. The merit list will have as many students as there are seats available for allotment of PG/MDS courses under All India Quota.
NEET PG Cutoff Tie-breaking Criteria
In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal percentile in NEET PG 2024, the merit of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as follows:
- Candidates with a minimum number of incorrect answers in Part A+B+C will be placed at a higher position in the NEET PG rank list.
- Candidates with higher marks in Part C will be placed at a higher rank.
- The minimum number of incorrect answers in Part C will be given a higher rank.
- Candidates securing higher marks in Part B will be given priority.
- Medical graduates with a minimum number of incorrect answers in Part B will be allotted a higher rank.
- More number of correct answers in Part A of a candidate will be given a higher rank.
- The candidate who is older in age will be awarded a higher rank.
NEET PG Counselling 2024
As per the rank on the merit list, the NEET PG Counselling process under 50% AIQ is organised and the qualified students can take admission to the Central Universities/Deemed Universities, AFMC Institutes and ESICs. The NEET PG Counselling Process includes stages such as registration, choice filling, document, verification, seat allotment and self-reporting to the allotted colleges. NEET PG Counselling Seat Allotment is done on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the merit list, their NEET PG scores, choice of preferences, category of the candidate and the availability of seats.
