North Eastern Hill University Shillong has released the PhD Admission shortlisted candidates list for the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Shortlisted Candidates must appear for the PhD Entrance test on February 5, 2025, at the NEHU Shillong campus.

NEHU Shillong PhD Admission Key Points

• The entrance test will consist of:
  • Biomedical Engineering and Allied Subjects- 50%
  • Research Methodology- 50%
• The written test will be followed by a personal interview, all candidates must prepare a research proposal of 200-300 words on their research area.

Documents Required for NEHU Shillong PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the below listed original documents at the time of document verification:

• Pass certificates (from HSLC onwards through the university level)
• Mark sheets/grade cards (from HSLC onwards through university level)
• Caste certificate
• Permanent residential certificate (for Meghalaya residents)
• Birth Certificate or HSLC certificate
• Valid NET/GATE scorecard (if qualified)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer for working/employed candidates if selected/shortlisted
