National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is inviting applications for MS (by Research) Admission 2025. Candidates can apply online through the NIT Tiruchirappalli admission portal. Selection will be based on Interviews conducted by the Institute.

NIT Trichy MS Eligibility

• Candidates must have a BE / BTech degree with at least 60% of aggregate marks, or equivalent CGPA 6.5.
• A 5% relaxation of marks or equivalent CGPA is provided to SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
• In the case of AMIE/AMIIM candidates, a minimum mark of 55% in the qualifying degree is eligible for admission in all branches.
• Candidates from organizations with R & D Labs of national repute and public sector undertakings such as DRDO, ISRO, IGCAR, BHEL, BEL, NLC, etc., which have MOU with NIT Trichy are only eligible to apply for the Part-Time Sponsored category.

Documents Required for NIT Trichy MS Admission

Applicants must attach the following scanned documents while sending a softcopy of the MS Application:

• Class 10th and 12th Marks Sheets
• Passport-size photograph
• Consolidated mark sheet of the qualifying degree
• Category Certificate, if applicable
• For Full Time-Project candidates, a Statement of Purpose (SoP) and/or Research Proposal should be uploaded in a single PDF file
• For Part-time-Sponsored candidates, a Sponsorship certificate, Statement of Purpose (SoP), and/or Research Proposal should be uploaded in a single PDF file
