Read Full ReviewPretty decent placements with average package of 14lpa for production engineering department with top firm P&G, Unilever, Google, Amazon, etc.. so its worth choosing nitt over other colleges unless you get into iits. A lot of the seniors i know have got internships at top firms like google, unilever, p&g, etc. It also has a 3 month long internship placement process with lot of companies visiting the campus so its a great opportunity
Honestly, choosing NIT Trichy was a mix of logic and instinct. It wasn’t just about rankings or placements—though those definitely mattered—but also about finding a place that felt right. NITT has this reputation for being academically strong while still letting students explore beyond textbooks. The campus itself is massive, almost like a self-sustaining world where you can always find a spot to chill, think, or just escape for a while. Plus, there’s something about the way students here hustle—whether it’s in coding, finance, tech fests, or even cultural events like NITTFEST—that makes the environment exciting. It felt like a place where I wouldn’t just study but actually grow, try different things, and figure out what I really want. And honestly, the fact that it has such a close-knit yet diverse crowd made it even better.

Read Full ReviewHi Abhinav! 97 percentile will likely get you a rank around 30590-34500. Usually, the percentile cutoff for Top NITs is very high but at 97 percentile you will probably get desired branches in lower ranked NITs or lower branches in Top ranked NITs. Remember that it all depends on the official cutoff.
