IITJ is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2025 at the Rishabh Centre for Research and Innovation in Clean Energy (RCRICE). Candidates can apply online through the IITJ admission portal before December 20, 2024.

IITJ PhD Eligibility

Candidates must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to be admitted to the IITJ PhD programme:

  • Candidates must have a Master's degree in engineering or science with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
  • Candidates with 4 years of bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA and a valid GATE score are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants with 4 years of Bachelor's degree or equivalent without a valid GATE score, with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA are eligible to take admission, subject to qualifying for the GATE exam within 1 year of the admission.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks is provided to candidates belonging to the SC / ST / PwD category.
