The Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate Examination or CUET PG 2025 began on March 13, 2025. Today (March 18, 2025) is the fourth day of the examination. Based on previous year trends, the exam is expected to be moderate to difficult. Here in this article, we have covered the shift-wise analysis that provides different levels of difficulty depending upon the complexity of the subjects and feedback from candidates.
CUET PG 2025 is being conducted in three sessions –
- Shift 1 from 9 AM to 10.30 AM - Hindu Studies & Healthcare & Hospital Management
- Shift 2 from 12.30 PM to 2.00 PM - Physical Education
- Shift 3 from 4 PM to 5.30 PM - Philosophy, Food Engineering &Technology, Architecture & Planning, Animal Sciences
The test is an essential entrance for postgraduate admissions in Central, State, and affiliated universities. This year, 4,12,024 unique registered candidates will be appearing for the CUET PG 2025 exam for 157 subjects. The candidates appearing for the exam from 13 March to 20 March can download their CUET PG admit card from the official website.

Documents Required for CUET PG 2025
Appearing candidates for subsequent shifts should carry the following:
- CUET PG 2025 Admit Card (Hard copy).
- Valid Govt. ID (Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, or driver's license).
- Other Required Things (Passport-size photograph and PwD certificate, if required).
Restricted Items in CUET PG 2025 Exam Hall
- Jewellery & Metallic Jewellery Items – Rings, bracelet, earrings, chain.
- Gadgets – Mobiles, smartwatch, calculator.
- Miscellaneous Things – Hairbands, clutches, sunglasses.
- Footwear – Closed shoes are not allowed; only sandals or slippers are acceptable.
