- I don't like the college very much but the faculty here is really good.
- The annual College fest which is called NEXUS.

- The infrastructure of the college and the fee structure.
- Sometimes classes are infrequent which can cause problems
Remarks :
The students are selected only based on class 12 results and there are no written tests or any kind of interviews. I choose this college because of its standard faculty. The cutoff can vary each year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured, the college is affiliated with the University of Calcutta and the academics are good, the faculties are well read, there is scope for scholarships like SVMCM if you perform well in the exam, and the fees are around 6-7k per month.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internships available which are affiliated to the college. But one can opt for any internship on their own. If the department has some news about any kind of internship they will let you know.
Placement Experience :
Internships or placements were not available at that time I don't know about the current scenario. You can pursue higher education after graduation and then avail of a job opportunity. You can carry out b.ed to avail the teaching job opportunity.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's a three-year honours degree course with 6 semesters and the fees are taken semester-wise. With the introduction of a new CCF curriculum, the fees can be increased. There are several Government and non-government scholarships available.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very pleasant, seniors were helpful and the social life was also nice as college units organised social programs and fest and other cultural activities were there, the hostel is only available for girls and the girls who live far from their houses get priority.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
