- The ground... Students play cricket, football and other sports throughout the year
- Good classrooms... Enough ventilation and cleanliness
Dislikes
- The teachers... They aren't very conceptually sound about the subject that they teach
- Lack of washrooms... There are only two washrooms.... One in each building, even though the campus is huge
Remarks :
Big playground... High number of teachers who take regular classes... The teacher to student ratio is pretty high... There are no group discussions or interview for admission... It is based on the marks in the class 12 board exams.... And a merit list is issued based on that
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is a 6 semester course... The teachers aren't very good with conceptions... The syllabus is huge ... It is very tough to clear semesters and students literally get less than 5 months to complete the syllabus for each semester
Internships Opportunities :
No... Did not find it worth it.... Preparing myself for government exam entrance tests.... The aim is to appear for the CUET exams and clear that to get into some reputed university for the masters and get better internship opportunities from there
Placement Experience :
There are minor internship opportunities....not worth it ... Companies like IPAC and others come for internship... It's better to study hard and prepare yourslef for the job market than focusing on getting such minor internship opportunities
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
6.5k for admission... Then 3.5k to 4k per semester... It's pretty cheap and people from all sections of the society can afford it... The fees for the university exams varies between 350 to 450; per semester
Campus Life :
We have our annual fest and other inter and intra college events... There are environmental clubs and other clubs .... There's a NGO based club named Roddur that looks after the poverty stricken kids living around the college
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel facility in the college... Classes are held between 10am and 5pm and students can easily travel to and fro while staying at their house....there are lots of paying guest options nearby though

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
