Remarks :
This college was the best private architecture college in West Bengal I have given 3 exams Nata(which is compulsory) Wejee(through which I got the seat in this college) And jee mains paper 2 Only qualifying the exams are needed No need of any ranks

I choose this course because I alway to to be an architect because architects are the creators of infrastructure The course was pretty good and it was well thought to us Just practical training was less due to covid
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied to several firms for internship for the post of intern architect I have applied for 15 companies out of which I got offers from 3 firms And finally joined a firm called studio Naksha with a stipend of ?6000
Placement Experience :
There was no placement in the architectural department But internship placement was there in good and reputed firms Highest package is 7lpa And average package is 2.5lpa as a freshers After getting the degree I started my own business

Campus Life :
The campus was amazing It has all the required facilities needed Including indoor games , labs, gym, canteen ,play ground and other facilities There was an in campus hostel which was good and food quality was excellent
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel was amazing with good and new infrastructure available in sharing and single occupancy facilities with proper washrooms and drinking water Hostel food was good and hygiene was maintained properly With veg and non veg both the option

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects.
