- The location is not quite good cause it's surrounded by factorys as it situated in cossipore of Kolkata..
- Ahh u can get little bore in class cause the attendence % is very low in this college cause they don't have any strict rules about this
Remarks :
No as this college is under Calcutta University so the admission criteria is to get into the merit list according to the result of 10+2 if u get selected then u will be called for fees payment then they will held a orientation program for u before the sem starts.
Course Curriculum Overview :
You will get a very experienced faculty in THK Jain college which is the core committee members of CU as well as Naac accredited as B+ institution with a lovely green and clean campus.. with library ,basket ball court ,turf and etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any kind of internship but I took part in vesituble training which was held by collaboration of our college and CS executives so so it is what it is.So as there not too much opportunity of internship so I have not done it yet.
Placement Experience :
See colleges under CU doesn't provide much about placement but THK tries to place but it's not like that u will get a high fii job the do provide u with some crash course and internship programs which u can apply for but there is no guarantee that u will be placed somewhere after the course the thing is if u want to do any job after doing bachelors u have to try that off campuss
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Ok so for Bcom hons it's 16500 for each sem which means 33K for a year cause 1 year consist of 2 sems and for 3 years it cost 99K as 16500×6 is 99K and in case of scholarship u get a fee deduction of rupees 10 K over the overall tuition fee if u score 85% or more in best of 4 excluding subjects like Bengali ,Hindi ,social studies.
Campus Life :
If u want social life and good campus then u can easily choose THK cause u will get a lovely clean and green campus and fest r on the top level the name of THK s fest is RIPPLES which is a 2 dag big fat fest where different colleges of Kolkata take part which consist of fashion show ,dance competition,tug of war,stand up comedy,street play .... And concert which was previously Darshan Raval,Sachin Jigar.
Hostel Facilities :
THK Jain doesn't provide you with any kind of Hostel facility as u can stay in nearby PGs if you are coming from outside the city or state. The thing is THK Jain doesn't have any boarding facility.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
