- Nothing to hate but the management should be more strict to students as most of the students are smoking aside the campus
- College infrastructure should be more modern .
Remarks :
Good aspects •availability of gyms, sports centers, and other recreational amenities. •Location is easily accessable,only 10 min walking distance from sealdah station •It is the first B school in India,support provided for internships and job placement by alumnis. •Low fees Bad aspects •Low quality of tech resources, such as computer labs and Wi-Fi. •Old infrastructure •Not a strong placement cell •activity level of student organizations is not creative Addmission process is very simple for mba ps ,just you have to qualify mat and then have to fill the form which is available in college website then have to send it at college.After that college will conduct Gd &Pi round.It is very simple process for mba ps students.Just students have to read current affairs and should aware of current gov policies to clear the Group discussion
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had choosen HOSPITAL &HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT as because i had completes B .Sc in Botany.About 90%students get job every year through campus placement in Hhm. student-to-faculty ratio is 1/15 &It have to accept that teachers are well qualified.Most of thems are from xaviers,IIT,IIM &some of them have completed there study from aboard. College conduct semester wise exams in every 6 months and difficulty level is medium .students have to follow each &every classes because college is the question maker

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition and Fees: the affordability is very good as compare it with similar institutions as because it is a gov undertaking college Student Support Services:Provide student credit card facility for west bengal students Fees-When i was a student (2020-2022)fees was only 3.75 L for 2 year but Right now it ys 5.6L.But there is no any other charges.
Campus Life :
FIERA FIESTA is conducted every year in february month were alumnis come &share their journey. There is a central library which provide various books to read & charges is only 50 rupees for 1 year membership. Sports& Extracurrucular activities-Food festival,Annual footbal match between teachers and students,Special invitation to ceo of different startups Social group -E cell is a social group run by students
Hostel Facilities :
No i did not opted for hostel.Trust me noone opted for college hostel as most of the students are local & college hostel facility is not upto the mark.But college provide it and there are separate hostels for boys & girls just opposite to college

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
