- College teachers are quite good. Teaching facilities are also nice.
- College campus is nice . Juniors seniors and classmate are friendly no ragging is taken place in our college.
Dislikes
- Canteen food is not good. Very bad and the behaviour is also not good .
- College don't provide ac in every room and doing class in the top floor in the hot weather is very bad .
Remarks :
I have given wbjee and from that I started my counselling and in the first round I got this college. Then I came here will all my documents verification and took admission in this college. I just only gave wbjee and no other exams. Not faces any interview or written tests for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen btech in computer science and engineering as it is the most demanded aspect of current world. The faculty are quite good and they have knowledge. The course curriculum are not good as we have a lot of subjects, currently in 5th semester I am having 10 papers including theory and practical paper. Four internal exams are taken as CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4 and two practical exams as PCA1 and PCA2 and then one final semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for intership but myself college don't provide any intership till date. Many projects have been done by our self. Intership are not provided in our college or very less but yes every semester we got a training process.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is approx 80% attendance and above 7 CGPA in semester exam and no back paper. The highest package is of 32 lakh and average package is 2 lakh. Placement is not good very few students get placement. I would do masters after getting my degree..
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fee of 4 year btech course is 550000 . At the time of admission we have to pay around 80000 and then each semester around 50000-60000 . It includes total of eight semester. There is no lab fee or development fee or any other compulsory charge during the course just you have to pay the semester fee. And for every semester exam you have to pay 1200 as exam fee. And if you got back in any paper then next year you have to pay 1000 for that back paper.
Campus Life :
College life is good. As every year there is fest and singers come and we also celebrate all the other cultural activities and festivals. Currently we are celebrating teachers day and freshers in our college. Then we would celebrate vishwakrma puja . Fest is held after the semester exam . College provides library and a lot of book are there to study. We also have 2-3 days of sports day .
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. For every month we have to pay 3000 food are not included in it. We prepare by ourselves or from outside we eat. The registration process for hostel is quite easy. As food are provided by canteen for a monthly charge of 4000 . But that are not good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
