Remarks :
There's no admission criteria. You can get into the college by counselling and direct admission both. The good thing in the college is the campus. The campus is big and it's full of greenery which feels fresh and calming.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've chosen this course because i always wanted to be a data science engineer and a great developer. The faculties are average not that bad not so good also. There's very few teachers are there who's properly knowledgeable and the rest of them are not well skilled.
Internships Opportunities :
Haven't got intership through the college. I've done one internship by myself. Even they didn't informed us or guided us to do an internship in 3rd yr. So most of the students from our batch they've done intership by doing r&d by themselves only.
Placement Experience :
During our batch there was no placement drive has been conducted by the college. Even they didn't helped us to get a internship. They didn't prepared us well for the interview. So, i also haven't get any kind of placement in the college so i opted for higher education.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I've taken admission in the year of 2019. At that time the total 4yr degree cost was 345000 along with 10k as caution money and 5.5k for college uniform . If you're getting into the college through councelling only then you've to pay 5k for seat booking. There is no other hidden fees in the college.
Campus Life :
The campus life was average because there's no cafeteria was present inside the campus and no hangout place or common area wasn't also there. But as the campus is very big and it's full of various types of trees and plants and full of greenery.so, it's calming and soothing to just walk around the campus for relaxation. There's no social or club in our college. But, there's a football team in our college which is good.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for a hostel because they don't have proper hostel and facilities. There's no separate hostel building or rooms. On the top of the college Main building there's 3 big hall size room available. And in each room there's 6 students were present. That's the hostel. And the food is horrible.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
