- The very first thing I like about my college is this old historical buildings.
- And the second thing I like is the huge campus.
Dislikes
- What I dislike is that some parts of the campus is broken which needs to be maintained.
- And the second thing which I dislike is the union room which is full of politics.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it is way nearest to my house . This admission process in this college is you have to score atleast a minimum of 60% in which 65% is for honours and 35% is for general for Bcom.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I will do MBA after graduation so it is necessary to do bcom . Qualification is for bcom hons you have to score 65% and for general 35% . There are 2 semesters a year and a total of 6 semesters in 3 years .
Internships Opportunities :
No , till now I have not opted for any internship because I am just completed my 4th semester exam. I will do internship just after completing my graduation and I want to do internship in tata consultancy services.
Placement Experience :
The minimum eligibility criteria for this college is 60%. There are recruiters like tcs , consultancy, cognizant , etc which recruits vast number of students . My plan after getting the degree is to do MBA .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In this college there are a total of 3 years where in this 3 years 6 semesters are conducted so per year there are 2 semesters with a gap id 6 months. This college also provides a scholarship SCMCM which provides 10000 a year for study.
Campus Life :
This college has a huge number of fests like social , freshers, bansanta utsav, etc. This college also have a huge library with a vast varieties of books and also gaming room which has carrom , table tennis , cricket, volley ball, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Yess , I love in a hostel here which is also provided by this college only . This college has its own hostel you can also get just you have e to fill up the hostel form and the rent is 16000 a year which is affordable with free food. This food is average .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
