- This campus is a ragging free campus with a friendly atmosphere between senior and junior.

- There are very less number of faculties in the departments.
- Boys hostel is only available for 3rd and 4th year which will be resolved in next 2 years.
Remarks :
Firstly this is a government college so you can get a prestigious B.tech degree with a low cost of tution fee. You have to crack WBJEE exam or JELET exam with a decent rank to get admission into the college. After scoring a good rank you can get the pathway to the college through counselling process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this college you can explore technological field with a great ambient. Faculties are very much friendly but there is less number of faculties as this college is very new, founded in 2016. Academic curriculam of the institution is afflitiated to MAKAUT university and AICTE approved. You can also get various scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS etc. to fight financial challanges.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done 2 internships by applying through internshala. First one is about content writing in EkakiVedam foundation and another one in Clavimate Classes as a Chemistry faculty. This internships pay me around 2500 rupees per month, where I have to spend 2 hours daily.
Placement Experience :
On campus placement is a struggling sector in this institute. But Infosys, Cognizant, L&T and few other companies hired through the on campus placement but they did not visit us regularly. Aluminies of the college are now placed in different government and private sectors through off campus placement. In recent times various startup and MNCs are coming into the pool campus placement which is a good sign. Don't think bad about the college as 23 LPA and many 10+ LPA packages are there in the history of the placement.
Campus Life :
You will definitely enjoy your campus life with a beautiful scene of river torsha. You can get every departmental books in the library with a pleasant environment but impossible to get any other books or newspaper. Excracurricular activities are plus in the campus. Students can enjoy dance, song, drama, debate, quiz through the dedicated clubs in the college campus. There are few tech communities also like GDSC CGEC, Tech o nicks etc. Esparanza in the annual fest of the college it takes place around april and may.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
