Course Curriculum Overview :
I am lateral student and completed my diploma in electrical engineering so I get into here as a lateral student in b.tech in mechanical engineering.i always prefer electrical as my first priority as I have intrest in it.
Internships Opportunities :
Indian seats are available many IIT is Amazon ,Microsoft ,Tata and many other companies is the originally to get internship very sweet company send in situation average one month is stippen very good

Available may IIT is Amazon Microsoft data and many other companies keep the virginity to get internship. Placements are available in form 6 or 7 semester company like data and many IIT company contact complex interviews to hire.

Campus Life :
Campus life I was very good as the colleges situated in North Bengal the weather is very comfortable. There are so many class like music club dance club David club photography club etc libraries fully equipped with books for all the schemes but I just to the college se authorities to get some new books in library. Also involts what are held every year and almost very a ground the available like badminton cricket football volleyball etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel buildings are available for all for your student but due to someone known reasons only 4th year students get their hostel during second and third year students day in visi what I think in this year all the four years student will get there hostel.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
