- New college campus which is in making is quite impressive. Good infrastructure with a really good greenery and suitable environment. But we haven’t got it yet so need to wait for it for don’t know how long.
Dislikes
- I already said we don’t have our own campus. So it’s quite boring to have a webel it park building as our campus that too only 3 floors, with both Cse and ece department students. It feels like still in coaching and preparing for mains.
Remarks :
This college offered BTech in computer science and was then one of best college as per my percentile and nearby my Homestate so I chose this college. It had 100% placement ratio back then, which attracted me to get admitted here
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose computer science and engineering due to its industry relevance and growing demand. iiit Kalyani curriculum is well structured covering essential topics like programming, DSA, ai/ml, microcontrollers, compiler design etc
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internship opportunity offered by college. Students need to find themselves reaching out to the seniors and alumni’s referrals . I haven’t done any internship as of now. I’m looking for one.
Placement Experience :
Placements when I got admitted (2022) were really impressive as it was 100% placement ratio back then. It’s quite good as of now as well. But colleges TnP really need to work a lot for the betterment of students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Detailed fee structure, - we need to pay ?93430 per semester, where 90000 is Tution fee, 1430 is student activity fee, 550 is maintenance fee, 750 exam fee, 200 grade card fee, medical insurance - 750.
Campus Life :
As we don’t have our own campus, life at college campus is quite boring it feels like being in a coaching (the life when preparing for her) but yes the college gymkhana clubs are very active to hold some interest in extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
It is mandatory for every student to take hostel in the first semester however the hostel life leads them in opting out for Pgs and flats from second semester. Mess food quality when I was in first semester was really very disappointing. National level of college should have at least good food for hostellers.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
