- College canteen food is too affordable and not in bad quality
- Some faculties behaviour is too good without them I can’t able to sustain here

- There is no campus life, it is smaller than my school
- Faculties are unprofessional talks in Bengali most of the time
Remarks :
I regret my decision but due to it’s less priced fee structure i have choosen this course. I got 73 percentile in mat but I should have waited, at first i was thinking that college will just give u certificate and knowledge but not for this one
Course Curriculum Overview :
In first year all departments was same so there is no difficulties in the curriculum but now due to less teachers and so many departments it is difficult to understand in the class and most faculties teach in analytical methods
Internships Opportunities :
Yes but most of them Are non paid except company like powell laboratories Companies like itc, exide, angel one, nj invest, times of india, max fashion, vmart, kolkata bazzar all are non paid internship
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered by college pur previous year placement offer lower is 3 lpa and highest package around 8 lpa but most of them are still non placed during campus placements. This college completely runs on refferal not in companies from bachelor degree college teachers
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For 2024-26 fee is increased around 40000, that is not worth it for this college, this college will provide u internship but non paid in big companies like itc, angel one, nj invest they will make u do field visits
Campus Life :
There is no campus life in our college my primary school was bigger than this college, also sometimes you might think that you are going to some masjid to attend classes as beside our college there is a masjid

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
