- Affordability - the college is quite affordable in this city.along that almost 25% we get return as scholarship.in this budget we got MAKAUT Certification,AICTE approved degree.in terms of roi this is good enough if you crack any job which suits your interest,but I repeat IF.
- Faculty - without faculty there nothing to like in this college.the faculty members are so helpful.they teach good but I can really say that the faculty members can be more professional and qualified.it would be more beneficial to the students
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - The infrastructure is so small that it looks like an average college or a high school in reality.the premises are small as well as the maximum area covered by parked cars of faculty members.the tennis court is open to all but it's limited for 2 or 4 persons at a time.
- Campus life - Campus life doesn't exist here as there is no campus.the campus area are so boring.
Remarks :
This is the most affordable private college affiliated to MAKAUT and AICTE Approved.this college is NAAC accredited. Not needed to give any gd or pi to get admission.Just approach the college and you get enrolled for an course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is structured by MAKAUT University.the course designed such a way include all core and diverse subject in first year and specialised subject in second year.Faculty are quite good but it can be more professional and qualified which meet market standards.The college provide seven specisation course but in reality in last year they obliged for some specisation due to faculty and facility issues.Curriculam doesn't include any special classes or any type of facilities which provided by other universities or colleges. University sometimes create a mess by giving uncertain exam date or result.one fact that faculty are helpful enough.they provide all type of meterial.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship program is a scary process for this college.As when you took admission they assure you about a reputed and paid internship will be provided,but in reality in become unpaid and not so good internship.they just put students in companies according to their need .the location can be far from the college or city.they generally put students in retail, finance,FMCG,FMCD, technology, hotel industry with no clear vision or objectives.
Placement Experience :
Comes to placement it's really quite sorrowful to students.big companies rarely visit this college for placement.the medium and small companies came for placement.tje maximum job provided to the students are sales profile jobs . Finance jobs are very less. And it becomes dry towards HR student as hr jobs are least than all other.come to other specialization there is no job which suits your area of knowledge.its frustrating and demotivating . The packege starts from 2 lpa and goes upto 8 lpa highest.median package is 3.5-4 lpa.the assurity is less for the students.you have to make connections and good terms with the faculty members to stand out.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every sem has a semester fees of around 11500 rupees on an average excluding the admission fees of 30000 rupees .West bengal government provided a scholarship of 120000 for 2 year divided by 60000 per year for residential students.There is no reservations system as well as not required such entrance scorecard with high percentile.
Campus Life :
The campus life is boring enough.the Campus is so small that there is nothing to do.the tennis court and a garden area... that's it.the canteen is decent. Tennis and cricket played at the campus but it's limited due to small space.the fresher program happen in December or January every year ...at that time the fest is good but not any special guest or celebrity comes in.This is a moderate fest happens in a year in March college organised a sports event for the students every The college organised several programs such entrepreneurs program for the students.Saraswati puja celebrated with a jog by the students and it is enjoyful.
Hostel Facilities :
The canteen has a very little menu for the students.The food is good and affordable enough compare to other food stalls in the area.There is options of veg and non and special food .the range starts from 25 ruppes and goes upto 70 rupees per person. Along that canteen provide soft drink and snacks during the lunchtime. If I talk about hostel,There is a mistake.College doesn't have any type of hostel or pg area.college doesn't provide this at all.students have to find a pf or flat or hostel according to their budget.The locality little bit problematic for hindu students.as it's a Islam prone area .a mosque is present near the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
