Well I joined this college through OJEE rank . I secured 3 lakh rank in JEE mains . To get admission in IGIT sarang in electrical branch one must have good JEE mains rank as it is Government college so the competition is really high . Through OJEE counseling rounds I selected this college and joined here
The qualifications of the faculty is really good . It was way better than expected as it is government college the qualifications of the faculties is really above than most of the private colleges . Most of the faculties have really good teaching method but not all have good method . The semester exams are conducted at every 4 months interval . Well the difficulty level of the is kind of above moderate and differs from person to person
Till now I have completed internship in just 1 place that's in INDIAN RARE EARTHS LIMITED, Berhampur. Well it was summer internship and they didn't provide any stipend , I did the internship there to gain some knowledge and experience which may help me in near future
Well as per the faculties the eligibility criteria for placement is CGPA , minimum 7cgpa is required to sit in the placement cell . Companies such as Vedanta , TCS have visited in the past and recruited most of the students in the Electrical branch . TCS offers around 5-6 LPA . The average package is 5-6 LPA , the highest package is around 9-10 LPA . Well my plan is to give competitive exams after completion of my degree
Every year electrical students about ?57400/- Every semester we pay ?28700/- The tuition fee is of ?12000/- Many scholarships are available for students such as Medhabruti, Odisha State Scholarship Portal etc . One must see the criteria requirements and apply the scholarship . Most importantly there are no scholarship for general category The development fee is of ?7000/- The lab maintenance fee is of ?1500/- The site activity fee is of ?1500/- The training and placement fee is of ?5000/-
The Branch fest is organised every year and they organised The fest really well . All the students can enjoy the fest . It mostly happens during the time of December and March. Lots of Extracurricular activities do happen in this college which genuinely help the students . There are lot of books available in the library whether it is novels or of study related all are available around all the period of the year
The food quality of the hostels are really good . To my question they are providing really nice meal . In my opinion the food quantity they provide is less . Well I will rate the food quality 7/10 and quantity also 7/10 . They provide the meals thrice a day . To get hostel one must have really good CGPA to get enrolled and in first year the selection is based upon JEE mains Rank . Afterwards , it all depends on your CGPA . I have never experienced PG life but what I can say is it's better to stay in hostel rather than staying in PG
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
