- Foods in hostels are really bad if you are in second year hostel and some girls hostel too
- The cleanliness is not good and some area of campus
Remarks :
First this college only accepts JEE mains examination marks and OJEE examination ranks, during my admission time the ranks were high to get admission like you have to score between 80 percentile to 90 percentile in JEE mains Examination to get admission in better streams but i guess now the entry level ranks get lower now, u can easily get into if your percentile is between 60-70 also but can’t sure about the streams you will get. For Lateral Entry students who completed their diploma will attend OJEE exam and get into this college, Im not a Lateral Entry student so not sure but you have to make state rank in between 1500 to get admission to this college (according to my friends).
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are different streams and different courses present here:- some are graduation courses and post-graduation courses also available here Like BTECH, MTECH, MCA. As it was a government college so the teachers are well good knowledgable and having good skills, almost every teachers are helpful and you can ask everyone for doubts and everything. Yes some teachers are there who are over experienced so they don’t give you personal attention or they don’t clear your doubts it doesn’t mean they don’t have knowledge they will only clear the mass doubts or class doubts. Some teachers are temporarily hired teachers those teachers some are good or some don’t clear your doubts but action will be taken if you make complaint against them. Exams are of medium level they put some questions tuff and other questions are of medium level and don’t worry they will show you your answer sheets after the exams and you can modify your marks.
Internships Opportunities :
No internships were provided by colleges, they will provide you 1-2 months for internships only you have to find the internship and have to attend the internship for you, internships also added in grade if you don’t find any internships then you will fail it is mandatory for everyone they will ask for your internship certificate on your final years.
Placement Experience :
The college don’t have any minimum eligibility criteria for placement the eligibility criteria was given by the respective companies to choose the candidates for placement drive. Recently due to recession the placement for IT/CS streams are not good, but if you are from core branches there are many good opportunities are present over here for you like Adani, Tata Power etc. The average package was 3 LPA. Due to recession less number are getting placed. Otherwise placed percentage was nearly 82% now it get dropped to 40%
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually i am a branch change student, in our college it’s rule that if you change the branch the fees you have to pay according to your last branch, so i paid fees 29,500/yr for Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, but actual fees of this branch was can’t remember range of 70,000-85,000/yr For registered streams like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering the fees structure was 29500/- per year For non registered streams like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering fees structure was 82,000/- per year. For SC/ST there was no tutorial fees:- So for SC/ST:- In non registered streams fees was like 52,000. In registered streams it was 21,000 For EWC students fees was also 16500/- per year in registered streams. 38,000 in non registered streams.
Campus Life :
There are two buildings over there for the classes one is new building and another is old building (only for classes purposes) and others are administrative buildings, libraries, lab buildings, canteens and multiple playgrounds and much more. Mostly everything was nice except Old building and old canteen it needs a renovation and college is aware of it, they were focusing on hygiene in canteens and old buildings! CCTV cameras available everywhere each and every corners. The library is plenty good and it was amazing library you can find everything there. This college tech events are rated as indias top 10 tech festivals , amazing tech events that you gives you amazing memories. Many sports events also conducted they also give attentions to your health.
Hostel Facilities :
I can’t say that food is good, in some hostels food are nice but in rest of hostels foods are not good. They are five boys hostels, one for first year, one for second year and one for third year and one for final years and one third year and final years. One diploma hostel for boys present there and two girls hostel and another girls hostel is under construction soon they going to have 3 girls hostel one disadvantage is for the girls not all girls get hostel only those who score good only they will get hostels. Those first year boys and girls don’t get hostels there are many PGs present outside campus and near the campus everywhere you can stay there the monthly fees was nearly 4k something.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
