- I love the atmosphere and the college parks which are always cute and clean and the canteen evening time food was delicious
- Campus was well maintained and cleanliness is what made me happy everyday at campus it’s decorative
Dislikes
- The campus is located near a jungle area so there are chances of wild animals like snakes and monkeys
- The most I hate was at rainy days the place stinks and I hate it and also snakes
Remarks :
For admission to IGIT you need to qualify Ojee or jee exam with a minimum of under 2lakh rank it’s easy to qualify and not too difficult The exams are joint so you need a minimum of 3 months of preparation and it’s not too hard.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose civil engineering because I had decided that time to prepare for UPSC and civil services exams and govt jobs but in college, I was more influenced by tech so I talked to the career assistant in college and decided to shift to it after completion of engineering because then I would have both options of applying govt jobs and as well as If I want I can prepare for it jobs the faculty helped me a lot about it and kept me motivated all the time I think the right guidance helped me a lot and I thank my faculties a lot.
Internships Opportunities :
I was from the civil engineering department so I got internships from the National Water Resources Department and the national and state road building department the value of these internships is a lot as they belong to govt departments I would prefer doing it.
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of campuses for it and computer science students such as TCS Tech Mahindra Wipro etc but I choose civil I got Tata Steel and Mahindra Power and many more small and average growing chemical and energy industries and ferro alloy industries min package 3.3lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
3500 caution fees. 5000 registration fees (one Time both). Hostel fees 14000 per year Canteen fees 3000 No fee reduction for SC /ST but a scholarship available for? 20000 per year. It’s very cheap because it’s a govt college
Campus Life :
If you’re a regular club person it’s not for you the campus is located near NH so there are no clubs within 10km and transport is cheap though but it’s not easy to find and inside the campus, there are basketball courts badminton courts and library which I love the most is the online library which is very easy to access and I loved it
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels were not so good the rooms were small and you have to share the room with 3 per room but there is extreme fun at night there are board games and table tennis ???? available it’s good and food quality is average but too bad not so good.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
