- I like the classrooms honestly. And some of the faculties are my favourite so I like them .
- I like the food from college.. I like to do the practical classes.
Dislikes
- They're very strict. They don't understand the situation of the students going through.
- Cafeteria foods are costly. Not average so anyone can buy.
Remarks :
Yes it was a three step of interview including exam. I gave a 50 Mark's choosing exam after registering.then I had a group interview, after that I had another interview with less people, and at the last I had a personal interview with one of the college faculty. and IIHM gives 100 percent placement and also it's the only college that provides international experiences. this point mainly made me join because I want to go abroad to work and stay there...and IIHM is helping me alot. Hopefully they'll give international placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is given by the college and i wanted a degree so this was the available option. and faculties are very friendly. They let you understand everything in a very friendly way.exams are 2 months back n forth. Exam are uncountable... Too much of exam we don't even know how they decide to grade us
Internships Opportunities :
I'll go to the industrial training in December. So the 5 star properties gives stipends high till 5000 as much as I know. We are their employees for rest 6 months so we have to learn every move they make in the industry. And we have to gain experience.
Placement Experience :
What to discuss. They give hundred percent guaranteed placement. You have to be right for the position you are trying.you have to learn about everything in the learning years. A Front office manager get's 1.5 lakh per month. 100 percent placement are given. I want to become a chef.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When we registered they took 600 for that then when we wanted to book the admission seat we had to pay 108500 as they requested 6 months of fees pre paid otherwise we won't be able to get it the college. then after four months they'll require the second half payment of fees and if you are unable to pay before the date the college gave you, they won't let you give semester 2 exam's. After the exam in the 2nd year they'll need the full payment for second year because we'll be gone for 6 months of industrial training. And our parents shouldn't have to face any problem so till we are here they need the payment before that
Campus Life :
Campus is very nice. Kolkata campus is much better than any other I'm totally sure. And we have library, we have cafeteria, party's happen in our college. Different brands sponsors the program's. Everyone play's table tennis and carrom in the cafeteria playing part.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
