- I liked the infrastructure and the faculty both as they are above my expectations an dthe environment is also very good as students and all the staff is very helpful following win win policy
- I liked the structure of study as they have distributed the subjects so as every student learn every basic skill that is required in future
Dislikes
- The thing i dislike is that its fee structure is very expensive so it is difficult for a student form middle class background to take admission in this college
- I also dislike that there is no proper place for sitting of students other than library and canteens but as the campus is so big i have to sit on any stairs or finding a place
Remarks :
The exam on which i have got admission is jee mains and it is compulsory to get admission in this branch of b.e. the factors that made me choose this college are that this college is near my home so i can reach there daily easily without suffering long travel distance and wastage of time . There were no group discussion or interview during admission process so it was easier to get admission just by staying at home and all the process was online so there was no much struggle
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as i had interest in computer and it also has a bright career in future the faculty is very good and experienced and know how to handle the students and they are very helpful always available for clearing doubts and have even gave their phone numbers for doubts and cabin number for urgent help. The exams are divided in two parts per semester firstly there are mid semester exams and after that there are end semester exams
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is different offered by different companies and companies like google Amazon and infosys and many more MNCs visit for on campus placement and the highest package last year was aroud 55 lakh and it is increasing every year and the average package is around 15 lakh and around 70 percent of students get placement my plan after getting a degree is to find a good placement in any MNC company related to information technology in foreign country and to pursue my masters from there
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees i paid for the course of b.e in computer engineering is 6 lakh per year means 3 lakh per semester of which 30,000 is the admission fees and 2,97000 is semester fees that includes around 1,50000 tution fees and left includes development fees and the fees is same for all categories The scholarship are available for students having high percentile in jee mains and scoring high cgpa there are scholarship for students who achieve cgpa above 9 and above 8.5 and also merit wise scholarship for the students through jee mains
Campus Life :
Social life is very good they organised a full month fest for freshers to increase their skills and social interaction with others. the books and journals are also available of very vast range in library this Library is ranked in worlds top libraries and almost all the books are available here in hard copy or in soft copy they also organised a sports fest for the students and professional support is also provided to the talented students for appearing in national and international tournaments

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
