- The college canteens food is very oily and highly priced.
- During summers it's very hot and get's impossible to do the classess .
Remarks :
Firstly the greenery of the college and the environment is very good. Each and everyone is well mannered . So I chose this college as environment is really really important for studies. You need above 8.5gdpi as its matters during placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because IT offers good jobs in the best companies. We can learn a lot of new things in this course which might be little boring at the beginning but later on you will grow interest. Every teacher is highly qualified and we'll mannered.
Internships Opportunities :
Right now I am in first year therefore I don't much idea about internships n all. But what I have heard from the seniors is that u can start doing internships from 3rd only and can join after the 4th year and get payments .
Placement Experience :
You need to keep atleast above 70% in all the semesters to get a good placement . You also have to keep 8.5 GDP as it really matters during placements. Companies like google , TCS and Amazon come for recruitment. 100% students were placed last year .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly the college takes 75000 . And total for four semesters is 650000. During addmission you have to pay 95000 and 50000 for the seat booking. Everyone coming from wbjee has to pay the same amount during addmission.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is really good . There are lot to explore. There are several groups and clubs which you can join . Like Gaming club , football club , cricket club, computer coding club , etc. The library is very neat and clean and has centralised air conditioner.
Hostel Facilities :
No i haven't opted for a hostel But if u want to take hostel you can talk to the respective sir in the admission building. I have rented a pg . It takes 80000 including food and living. The food is also good here.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
