Remarks :
The college is really old college established in 1968. The college has a very rich heritage.It is a very famous college .It is on top 10 list of colleges for mbbs in west bengal.The college location is also very good.No,there were no group discussions, interviews.I gave NEET-2022 the written examination for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because this course gives me the ability to help people in need.I can treat the ill patients.The curriculum is also really good .It gives you the ability to survive in any kind of worst situation.you are always prepared The academics is really good but a little bit difficult,you always have to give tests there is a lot of syllabus.The faculties are really good .The professors are already qualified doctors,they have a huge knowledge. The semester exams are every two to three months and at the end of the year there is a final professional examination for the whole year's syllabus.But there are internal exams every now and then.the difficulty level is quite tough.
Placement Experience :
After Mbbs I can apply for housestaffship in my own college or other college .I will have to give interview and they will see my college marks and according to that they will assign me in the department.I can also give NEET-PG for my post graduation.

Campus Life :
The Name of our college fest is PLASMA.It is generally held few days before West Bengal biggest festival Durga Pooja. There is a vast variety of books regarding medical world ,research journels etc There are a lot of sports such as football,kho kho, badminton,table tennis, cricket,dodge ball ,throw ball.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes , I live in hostel. There are many hostel mess in our college.You can give advance amount of 2000 rupees and join the mess. The infrastructure is moderate.You will get whatever food you want.,but the quality of food is not up to the mark. I applied for hostel room on my admission day .I filled a form.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
